Flower Saga

Our saga begins some entries ago, dating around the end of October.
For my readers who have recently discovered my ramblings and don't follow

TLDR:  Went to Halloween Horror Nights. A talented, intimidating scareactor there noticed me and gave me a flower, and then another before we left.  We returned a few days later. He remembered me and gave me another flower. I returned a third time. Another flower + peek-a-boo.

It's been an on-going joke on Facebook, and even my co-workers.

Mr. Flower and I have been in contact and he last invited me to attend a Halloween party he and his colleagues attend post Halloween, since they have to work on Halloween every year at Universal. I went right after Blizzcon, where he introduced me to almost everyone that were in masks and charging at me with saws and machetes.

BUT.
Before I get into last nights events... allow me to indulge in some innocent verbal squee over how absolutely amazing it was to be at Rapture the other night!!!
I won't go into too much detail, but T (a.k.a "Sir") was gonna be there with his little Pixie and it's always so wonderful to see them! Lauren was going too but because we both had different things going on, we met up there. Was probably better anyway because I had work at 5AM, lolol. This was a bdsm event, similar to this one but in a location that's specifically furnished for such events. The last place was gorgeous but was a club venue with a fancy basement. This place was something you would see in a Saw movie. Delicious, I know.
Lauren and I arrived around the same time but we both couldn't find parking for shit and were both thinking of just leaving. I had pulled over and was in the middle of texting her telling her I was going home when at that very moment she called me like she knew I was giving up and excitedly told me the security guards helped her find a spot and they were saving one for me!!! So I hauled ass over there and parked behind her. Yay!
We went inside and were immediately on the look-out for a pink mohawk.

Issss he in that room?   O__O nope.
This one? Oh hey, nope.
Hmmm... that one? Nice. Nope.
He said all the way in the back.... hmm let's keep going.

It was really packed. We wiggled our way through the narrow passage towards the room in the back, where there seemed to be an audience watching something. Lauren, ahead of me, peeked her head in and "yup, there he is"

As we walked in I watched Pixie come down from the stage with him not far behind her. She looked ADORABLE in her little kitty cat ensemble omg. That girl is precious. I love watching her little happy dances. T saw us and came over to unleash all of the hugs.

Will there be pictures? Not from the event. Remember how I said most places won't allow them? *nods* =\ yeah. With good reason, but you can use your imagination.

Here's my face. Sorry.

Basically I had arrived that night expecting a short visit to see people I am fond of and observe all the yays. Meaning-- I was not appropriately dressed for play. Understandably, I was informed that playing with T would most likely not be a possibility due to a long list of people he had. No biggie, I thought. Next time! At least I get to see him and Pixie!

NOPE.

Darling Sir graciously squeezed me in for a quick little play session. I am forever grateful!!! Funny, I didn't think it would work-- you see I had a cardigan, a longish top, shorts, a belt, tights, underwear, LAYERS. Layers of clothing! GUESS WHAT.

My ass may not be the color of a plum but he managed to bruise it still! There's a blue tint with like 3 ultra sensitive spots that still hurt.

He removed my cardigan, and my belt and handed them to Lauren, as she watched on the side.
All the while I was leaned back against a vertical, wooden, medieval rack.
We didn't even have to talk or negotiate this time. Just went right in.
The thighs were a thing.
Did I mention how much they suck? Like in a badgood way.
I considered yellowing, but pushed through it. Hooray!

He turned me around and fought HARD through the 3 layers of fabric between his hand and my rump. And then there was the bamboo looking paddle with toothed edges.  That was a thing. Omg if I hadn't even been wearing the shorts I don't even know you guise. It still was pretty intense, I can't even imagine... BUT I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO FIND OUT SOONER OR LATER, RIGHT?

Then he moved me over to the pretty, fancy looking web made of red steel (it seemed) and use this sharp little scratcher he wore on his finger that destroyed me every time he went to my thighs, already raw and boiling with infuriated nerve endings.
A few minutes of that and we were done. We finished with a happy fun embrace, feeling exhilarated and alive. It was great hearing the supportive applause from those who watched. I can't begin to explain how amazing it feels to be in such a wonderful, open, supportive environment full of smiles and laughter, and such joy after you've finished. I'll always be thankful for it. And I love that Lauren was there, and probably always will be. I could hear her laughing towards the end as I lost myself.

I had to leave shortly after. Be the responsible adult and all =(
Definitely glad I didn't rage quit that evening over parking lol. I love love loved it! Sad I missed T and Pixie playing, but there's always a next time ^_^

Mr. Flower was like let's do something before Wednesday (you'll have to wait)
and I was like aight.

So we did. He was working at Universal so we decided to meet up after he was done. Those of you who have driven around as my passengers know that I have the sense of direction of a chair. His directions attempting to navigate me through the parking area to get to the drop off were pretty short and straight forward. See I need government Intelligence Units to tell me exactly where to go so I don't get lost. It's sad.
I made it. He said go past Frankenstein, all the way up the hill. OH GOD NO, IT FORKS. OMG. DO I GO RIGHT OR LEFT THERE ARE CARS BEHIND ME OH MY GOD oh, that sign says drop off. okay.

So I waited for him there and once he came out we were able to park in the lot with his pass. Hooray! We went to City Walk (the shopping area outside the park) and browsed the collector shop with lots of geeky loot inside. He had gotten us tickets to watch Thor 2!! lol. I told him I had already watched it, but was up for watching it again. It was funny how they incorporated BASICALLY Portal and Drow into it. So weird. So we watched that and walked around some more, talking up about cons and HHN. And how awful and horrifying one of his colleagues is who is like 5,000,000 feet tall and wears combat boots and has a huge afro and a trench coat and is horrifying.

We went to the closed gates of the park and chilled there for a while, looking inside, discussing cosplay and cons some more. and dreadlocks. I was wearing my hat and had my locks down but decided to be silly and push them all forward to cover my face so we could both be silly and take pictures.
My octopus necklace wasn't having it.
It got tangled not once, but twice and he went in trying to detach the guilty tentacle that hooked itself apparently really well into my lock. And then again on the other side. This was lolz. So I took pictures anyway

 lol "can you get it?"

"I'm trying not to tear any of your hair"

 lolsigh

After a few minutes of looking like, I dunno, apes in grooming season, he was able to free the tentacle from... the other tentacles' grasp.

Whose locks belong to whom??!

yay lockies!
WAR LOCKS.
Oh my god I just got the coolest idea.
It's dumb, nevermind. Has to do with war and dreadlocks.
War-locks. but involving actual warlocks. with dreadlocks. all battle worn.
Shut up, it sounded good in theory.

Then we went to that pub that's right there with the horse in front of it and sat by the little fire pits.
Talked some more about YouTube and saw butts on the television monitors inside. Once it got late I offered him a ride home. His car gave him shit, he got me free parking and a movie ticket, least I could do!
Hopefully he gets it back before this weekend. Long Beach Comic Con would be more fun with company, since Lauren can not longer attend.

I got home suuuuuper tired last night. Went to bed and got exactly 8 hours of sleep but woke up feeling blegh. This week will be eventful! Wednesday is a thing, and then Long Beach Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday! Woohoo!

This Big Daddy commission is hard. I wasn't expecting to have such a block on designing him on the scale I need it to be. The Vault Boy is easy, since I've already made one. Ah, oh well. You know, justgirlythings.

Zones

There's a scab somewhere on my septum ring that I can't find to clean off and it makes my eyes water when I accidentally bump it. Burns.

Best intro ever.

So we last left off at Blizzcon and the Halloween Horror Nights get together that followed. Let us rewind a little bit to the events beforehand (and possibly following the HHN party b/c I don't remember anymore).

Fett as we've come to learn is someone who indulges in what the city has to offer, with its sights, winding roads, extravagant houses on display, parks, and endless driving for the sake of escapism. He's familiarized himself with everything there is to see, and Thursday night he introduced yet another wonderful landmark I had no idea existed, and totally blew me away.

AW YEAH. SPACE AND SCIENCE AND SHIT

Fett, you guise. This dude is a walking map of every sight-seeing and/or landmark of note ever.

There was this massive obelisk looking thing out front in the yard.
I was like dang.... that's cool.
Monuments. Monuments are neato.

First thing to welcome us as we went inside is the swinging pendulum that swings forever and ever.
There was what I assumed to be a professor commentating it and lecturing visitors about the physics behind its momentum and history. It was pretty hot you guys.
Being lectured about space and math and physics and stuff I know a little-but-could-know-more-about is really, really, really attractive to me.

Off topic sort of relevant mini story #1:  This one time in High School a sort of taboo-territory friend and I met up at a diner to hang. He went on and on about planets, and some dude that walked by us questioned something he had said. That turned into a friendly, sophisticated debate between two really smart guys talking about physics and space theories and I almost died.
We went back to my place together and reclined opposite of each other on a couch under a blanket all night and..... I listened to his lectures.
Don't get me wrong, he's an attractive guy. That just made it even more awesome.

Off topic sort of relevant mini story #2:  Back in the day when my old guild was raiding Karazhan, there was this Fire spec mage that was so leet. I could never catch up to him in damage, but was so happy that there was another mage in our guild that wasn't Arcane or Frost spec'd. One of the Guild Officers suggested that he and I group up and go through spell rotations with him coaching me, showing me how to be more leet. So we went to the dummies in Orgrimmar and did exactly that. I improved and my DPS went up a lot because of it.
Shortly after, I developed a mini crush on him!

Dat knowledge.
So attractive!

ANYWAY...

So awesome.
So smart.
So. Epic.

We walked down one of the 3 halls to have a look at all the planetary exhibits, highlighting their orbits and rotational stages.

Then we saw this baby

Literally, you guys. Literally the contents.
Never knew why, but when I was little I had access to liquid mercury. It made unlocking Metal Mario so much more exciting because I could live my life knowing what it'd be like to hug Metal Mario.
Really fucking cool and weird.

Down another hall...

 heu heu heu heu

Then he was like WANNA GO ON THE ROOF AND BE OVERWHELMED BY A GORGEOUS VIEW NEXT TO A GIANT TELESCOPE?
Psyche, that's not what he said, but he should've.

I quit. I was done. I lost the ability to can.

We went back inside and it just kept going.

We were greeted by a long timeline detailing a series of events based on scientific theories of how our Universe woke the fuck up.

Hi, you can see my reflection

 Meteorites, man.

So. AWESOME

Confirmation: Venus is nothing like Naboo.
(Kudos if you got this joke)

 -THIS... THIS IS AN ATOM.
-yeah you said that. Can't see it.

 HALP
(I don't know why Fett would want to hurt Mr. Einstein but to each his own.)

Yay, Peru!

I bet Big Daddies were inspired by these.
Every trip we took to the Planetarium in High School I always looked forward to this guy rising up from the platform. What an amazing piece of technology!

Heh, anus.

That place is really fucking cool.

I was so excited and happy and knew I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep-- the worst thing ever considering Blizzcon started the next morning-- and he felt the same so he took us to the nearest Sonic (East of Pasadena) just for the sake of having some fucking Sonic.
Never had it before, so I was uber excited.

SO GOOD.
lol. We pigged out and left with full bellies.
Kinda bummed they didn't arrive on roller blades but the whole Drive-In thing was neat.

That was basically my Thursday night before Blizzcon.

It was purrcool.

Then on Sunday night? I think? Or maybe Monday night? I can't remember oh god.
Well, one of those.... since the Drive-In adventure had been a success, Fett took it upon himself to rise to the occasion.

He said there were more places to check out, and I was down because you know... it's like discovering new zones in World of Warcraft but like... the graphics are better.

We went through windy roads and ended up in Sun Valley, where we trekked up this hiking trail that reminded me; I could be in better shape. We got to the top to look upon another amazing view.

And this rock with graffiti on it.
I made sure it wasn't possessed by vengeful spirits of sacrifice by kicking it repeatedly to see if it'd move. It didn't.
That was zone 1 that night. Then we were off to Culver City for zone 2.
No clue wtf we were doing in Culver City.
Until we pulled into this little alley with a longish line of cars turning into a lot with a huge sign over it that kinda looks like movie titles wait what is this what does that say... movie titles omg wut is this a movie theatre uhwut are you serious it's a DRIVE-IN MOVIE THING WITH CARS AND STUFF LIKE IN THE GREASE AND CRY BABY.

Yeah. So like.... these drive-in places are real. I thought they all died in the 50's.
Like I knew about the movie thing in Hollywood at that cemetery or whatever but that just sounds like a dumb, clique-y, gimmick. This place though was legit. There were cars everywhere and several massive screens with their own double features. It was neat. Fett said people smuggle extra passengers in by hiding them in the trunks, lol. wweeeeeiiiird. He also said that many newer model cars now have a mechanism in the trunk that opens the trunk door from the inside in case, you know, you're about to become an X-File or something. Always nice to know.
Our double feature was Thor and Gravity. That one with Sandra Bullock and outer space.
Every time I hear "double feature" I think of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Then... we were off to zone 3.

He hinted that it was a place that never shuts down. I thought we were just going to Denny's.
Nope.
Gas station?
Yeah, but nope.
McDonald's?
Nope.

Here we are

 L A C M A
Los Angeles County Museum of Asses

There were a bunch of people who were also there. I had no clue that these lights were so popular.

There was one other time I visited here. It was a long while back during the Tim Burton exhibits. I came here with someone at like 4 in the morning or something silly like that. Taking the lights in for the first time is pretty spectacular. Captured images do not do them justice.

Seeing them again brought back wonderful memories.
Also it was cold.

Can't believe I live around palm trees...

That was the end of our Dora the Explorer adventure. It's appropriate. Because I'm basically Dora.
He agreed.
Funny enough I should just refer to him as the Map. Because he's basically the fucking map. He says he goes on these random drives with his friends all the time and knows everywhere ever. And probably is a pirate. But he's already Fett. It's okay. Because now everyone just read that and will be thinking it every time I document these exploratory trek thingies.

In other news-- if you haven't kept up with Rotny's social media stuff basically him and Josh got their own place and Lauren is moving in here with me. Let me tell you how awesome it's gonna be not having tons and tons of gear everywhere taking up space in an apartment meant for two. It'll be just like when they left on tour! :D
They invited us to join them for Thanksgiving but we had already made plans to spend it with Lauren's family, which I'm really excited about! I'll definitely have to save some of my leftovers for the boys. They really liked my Causa from last year. I'm sad that this year I won't be able to spend Xmas with them. Though I mentioned it to Lauren that if her plans allow she should totally celebrate it with the boys. They are fond of her, and she of them. I'm glad they took her in.

Rot and Josh are protective of me. We've become a really tight knit unit, and watch out for each other. When people come into each others' lives... there is an ever watchful jury.
We're like a pack of turkeys or something, okay? So. Yeah. They're my second family. Rotny, Josh, and Lauren. Love those guys.

I think I'm about to start my period wtf is this love shit
