It is what it is. Though, I haven't really advertised it much, but spamming people is not what I want to do. Word of mouth seems way more legit. There's a psychology behind that I think; if someone tells you about something they saw, heard, or bought it's because they want you to enjoy it as they did. If you shove something down someone's throat, forcing this on them, it's more likely that they'll just get sick of it and ignore or avoid it all together- unless they're brainless and just want to be a part of everything.
K.
Look at this!
Super cuuute! It was a custom for Kyrie. I can make those in a bunch of different colors you know. Guys. I can make them. In all the colors. Guys. Ok? Just saying.
No word from the Beta, so I take it I wasn't accepted. Which blows, but I'm still glad they're being that strict. However... LET ME TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED THAT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AGAIN FOR THE BETTER
I'm playing World of Warcraft again!! What? WoW? Really? Gross.
No, not... WoW wow, but Vanilla WoW :DD
We are playing on a private server created just for veterans like meeeeee ^_^
Literally. Look!
I read that and almost cried. I actually got teary-eyed when I left the tomb I spawned in and didn't see a bunch of yellow shit all over my monitor indicating where to go. I was home again.
No blatant tool tips, no obnoxious yellow question marks on my map, no retarded re-made starting area... just silent, unpressured (not a real word?) quest reading and seeking out your next location like a true RPG. Ah.... :) *purrrrr* ^_^
Ever since, this is pretty much what has been taking up most of my free time. I'm level 14 and I also rolled a Warlock.
Also I made this:
Cool shit, right?! I loved that show! It's another commission piece. So I haven't fallen completely into the mmo relapse of utter uselessness. However, I have fallen short of my other charms that I really want to make, but ... get distracted from. :P heehee.
Here are so more WoW screenshots :D
Spawning point!
The spiders in the cave are agro again. :)
I remember when they changed that... totally unneeded. Rot, Josh, and I all played that night til late just reliving the starting zone until we reached Brill. Good times. We cleared this cave just for the hell of it. Ahhh... ^_^
The original Sylvanas model. I admit, this was one of the changes that they implemented that I actually really liked. Mostly because it didn't affect my gameplay, and it made her more accurate, aesthetically. But it was still cool to see her in this form again.
:D Apothecary in the Undercity.
What our nightmares were made of back in the day. Son of Arugal would somehow sneak up on you and destroy you. He'd just patrol the area, and he was way higher level than you. so killing him was rofl no.
My friends had a show at the Viper Room on Tuesday! I've never been. What a teeny, tiny venue. But I saw a bunch of people I know there. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures that night. My bag is a pain to get in and out of, and Rot gave me his jacket to stow away so... meh. Jamison's band played; Modern Weapons. Before them was a metal band, I forgot their name. Kauze? Idk. They were alright. I don't even like metal. I'm not talking about the shit that's on TV, btw...with the clown make up and ugly chicken hair. That's not even metal. I had to clarify that. Anyway, after Jamison, Elena's band went on! She looked so beautiful and did great! She's gotten so much better since she first started. You could see a little nervousness before, but now she's blowing everyone away :)
I saw my friend Eric that night, Jason too. Met some new people who weren't crazy. That was neat.
It's always nice to be surrounded by people you know. At least for me it is... I don't get anxious and start panicking. Or at least with sort of like-minded people. Makes going out a little less stressful for me. I will admit at some points it felt like this
I had a good time though. We all did, I think. It was good to see Elena again. She always tells me how much she likes me. I like her too. I wish I didn't suck at showing it, though.
At one point during the night Dave Navarro grabbed one of the locks hanging from my up do and asked me if it was yarn or my real hair.
My initial thought was "oh wow... why are you grabbing something of mine without asking me?"
I told him it was my real hair, he complimented me. I smiled a thank you and turned my attention back to Elena.
Sociology of the Day: Status doesn't make being presumptuous okay. At least not with me it doesn't.
Towards the end of the night I was invited to go to an after-party at Angels & Kings, but I wasn't in the mood. We all had just gotten WoW on our machines and I was eager to just get home and play. Rot drank himself too much again, so I drove us back. Josh said the Subway by our house is open 24 hours... soooooooooo we stopped there. When we got home everyone just went to bed. I had to get Rot ready for bedtime again. It's like this happens every week. lol sigh. The next day we played some more WoW until I pooped out and took a nap.
What else?
Last night was my co-workers birthday party. From the last few get-togethers I've attended, I had assumed, mistakenly, that it would be just as all the others. A humble little thing between co-workers. I was severely mistaken. A co-worker came to get me so we'd all go together. It took some convincing, to which I later found out that there was some stupid gossip drama at work again. I was so blissfully ignorant of it all. I'm unsure of who has been talking about it but I can take a huge wild guess, and can probably say it's the same people that fabricated the crap about me as well. I told her it's always a pissing contest and to not worry about it. We got there and there were only a few people there, mostly from work. My ride left shortly thereafter, but I told her I'd stay and find a ride later. More people started arriving that weren't from work. It got louder, so I asked if there was an xbox or ps3 somewhere that I could check out. They led me to another room with an entertainment system with a PS3. I chose Bioshock. I sat in that room in solitude for a while. Mainly due to the game needing an update, and after that... it also needed installing. Which felt like an hour. As I was waiting for everything to finish, the party sounded like more and more people kept showing up, and there was shouting and "WOOOO"- ing. I called Rot and asked him if he could come get me. He was drinking, so he asked Josh. The game finally finished installing, and I didn't get very far before another co-worker came into the room and asked me about dating a friend of theirs. I don't know if it was because she was tipsy or not, but she was very jubilant. All I could do was look at her in horror and arch my eyebrow in a "why are you asking me this... no" way. She said we'd be very cute together and all geeky and whatnot. I'm moved. I told her I was leaving, we talked a little more and she left the room. I went to the bathroom. Came back to a missed call and walked out. I wanted to say goodbye to everyone but there were so many people that I only got to say goodbye to one co-worker and gave up and just walked out.
I'm... not normal. Sorry.
Rot took us to get frozen yogurt!! So yumms ^_^
Nilla calls.
