IF anyone's gonna get a parking ticket while going out to Hollywood, it's me.
I'm not even sure what it is that I'm cursed with but for some reason I just have the worst fucking luck when it comes to parking there.
This time was a record for me though. Two in one sitting!
One for parking in a residential street... that apparently required a permit to park in.
The second for having expired tags! It hadn't even occurred to me because I had paid the registration fee, but just never got the tags in the mail and forgot about them.
So... when we got back to my car, you can imagine my excitement.
but, I digress from the evening.
It was a Tuesday night, and considering my lack of going-outy-ness, I decided to go out to Warlock. The only club night I could think of that wouldn't piss me off. Yes, Toxic Tuesdays... that includes you. The point was to go out and be social WITHOUT running into anyone I know.
Baby steps, guys... baby steps.

The irony of taking a photo of an image portraying itself taking a photo of itself was too good to pass up.
It was myself with Stephen.
It was a pleasant surprise to find out that like... 4 people I know live in my neighborhood- him being one of them. I mean, besides my housemates. 4 people all in the same circle. Frickin awesome.
So we went. In my hopes of convincing Jess to join us, we went to see her at Toi.
and we were like... super hungry.
WUB HERRRRRRR
It was cool because like. we all just saw each other 2 days ago at Bats Day so it was like yays :DDD
wtfffff
HAAAH.
We ran to the bathroom for a selfie because yes.
She was too tired to go out with us =\
So we stayed there for a bit to keep her company and stuffs. And stuffed our fucking faces.
EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD U_U I've only ever been there like twice before and forgot how awesome everything was. Even teh coconut ice creaaaaaaaammm
aaaahhhh so good.
also my hair was cooperating that night and I felt like my face was poofy. dis made me happy.

so I captured it.
idk why my face looked poofier. Does it always look this poofy and i just don't realize it?
idk.
So afterwards we went to the Monte Christo and.... it kinda sucked lol.
It was basically house music but like... darker? if you even wanna call it that.
it was all kinds of blegh... but.. Stephen went up to Xian and asked her to play some Ministry. When she finally did, we went out to dance, and she followed that with Laibach and Skinny Puppy, so it wasn't entirely awful. As we were leaving she played some more Ministry. I appreciated it.
It was fun. My favorite part was when I had to drive back home from Hollywood because of my paranoia of gettign pulled over for expired tags, and then having Stephen drive us BACK down there just to get to Monte Christo and listen to "witch house" lol.
Before that I had some errands that I knocked out of the way. My broke ass went to Amoeba Music in Hollywood (which is where I got the motivation to even go anywhere that night) to trade in a bunch of movies and stuff that were just sitting on my bookshelf forever taking up space. I got back $30 for all of it which helped w/ dinner and the entrance fee. No complaints. Shoulda kept it for the parking ticket >_< lol
Fun night either way!
WE WATCHED SAN ANDREAS AND IT WAS THE MOST STRESSFUL MOVIE
My friend Brian is visiting from out of town, and we decided to meet up and go watch San Andreas because he's a dick. He brought his friend Matt, I brought the closest thing in proximity; Stephen. It had nothing to do w/ the fact that he completely freaked out when I told him I was going to see San Andreas with friends and he's been wanting to see it or anything.
Brian is the fuzzy one.
We have a tradition of spinny hugs.
I haven't seen him in a few years, so it was REALLY awesome getting to hang out again.
I haven't seen him in a few years, so it was REALLY awesome getting to hang out again.
Last time I saw him was like 4 years ago or something. We went to Disneyland w/ two other friends (one of which we um... excommunicated) and he wrestled Tigger.
I actually wrote about that trip on my Livejournal ;)
Aaaand if you'd like to read about that trip, you can do so by clicking H E R E.
Amazingly, Brian treated all of us. He's a boss.
A fuzzy bear boss.
Okay, like I'm not even gonna try to tell you how stressful it was watching San Andreas, so... I'll just tell you that it had some comedic relief and someone needs to get Dwayne Johnson an award for Most Awkward Sentimental Actor During Stressful Movie.
Selfies were imminent.
I told him to do something pretty.
MOOOOOSHTAAAACHE
EPIC NACHO CONSUMPTION IN FRONT OF HARD ROCK CAFEEEE
AW YEAH
he kept his nachos.
a re-enactment of that scene in Conan the Barbarian where he punches the camel.....
-____-;; .......
sigh
So because it was so late, the tram and the parking garages were closed. We had to walk up the hill and back down to get back the car. Thankfully, Brian had nachos.
Matt kindly drove us back home in his sweet ass rental car :D
AND TOMORROW WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAAAAAAND ^_^
Huge thanks to Jackie for helping us acquire tickets!!! I OWE YOU SO MUCH LADY.
We're gonna bring her donuts. I'm hoping that we can tape the box shut and take it to customer services or something? Hopefully they'll get them to her? I don't know. I should call her tomorrow.
H E L T E R | S K E L T E R
Whoa Cynthia, you're all kinds of goin' out, aren't cha?
Well.. my schedule has been more free lately than usual and I've been able to sleep in a little more.
Also, when your boyfriend is busy working 60 hour weeks, it's a little hard to stay at home and keep yourself per-occupied by your lonesome. He took an internship for the summer and is working there, plus his other job and is trying to get his internship hours knocked out before the end of the month.
SO. Operation distract myself w/ Le Dancing is a-go!
No driving for me (at least not until I get my new tags in the mail which... they said should be any day now.. damnit) so enter Stephen. He was nice enough to come get me and drive us there.
I knew Jess and Vince were gonna be there and was stoked to see them, too. They're so fun!! I follow them around like a little lost puppy. Please don't hate me, lol.
Precious.
Billy looks all kinds of thrilled, lol.
Billy and I have been talking about carpooling to San Diego Comic Con.
Ghosting only. No passes for me. I'll only be there for one day, but he's going all out as a Colonial Marine. I *might* go as Poe. We'll see.
D'awwww I wub dem
loool qqqqqq
Doomie showed up!! Made me want creme brulee :(
WAAAAAAHHH
*snort* HAHAHA
LOL.
Her back was facing the camera in this intially
I went to take picture and there was a small flash before it took, and she IMMEDIATELY turned around and made that face, LOLOL
We all danced our booties off. Was super fun.
Carpool party time, but we were hungry so we went to Denny's first.
Billeh makeh da goofy faaacesss
XD he looks like a little kid! hahaha
everything in the background is so colorful LOL
this was probably the part where he got a message from someone else who needed a ride home XD
Poor Stephen, lol. He had to be up for work at like 9. By this point it was after 3. He still had to drop all of us off. Thankfully Billy lives close to us too, but still. Poo.
Dunno why but I like taking photos of people walking away... like I'm the explosion. :D
FUN NIGHT. I fell asleep on the ride home. As soon as he dropped me off, I passed the fuck out. Thankfully I didn't work until 3pm. Lort.
YAY ADVENTURES.
But, after tomorrow, Cynthia is gonna retire a little bit for her outings. She's had a little more than she can handle, methinks. And taking it easy at home also feels really good. Home is where the Chili Lime Shrimp ramen is with carne asada waiting for you in the fridge. mmmmmm....
Disneyland awaits.
It's fucking 5:16 AM right now and I have to be ready by 11:30 fml. GOOD NIGHT!
