Checked off some must-dos for the season.
- Visit a haunted mansion
- Pumpkin flavored everything
Earlier this month we also went to a small car meet. It was the first one and the turn out was actually pretty good. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I'm hoping it continues and grows :D
Cars weren't something I really cared about before. All that mattered to me was that mine was taken care of, and got me from point a to point b. It wasn't until recently that Chicken took me to a larger car meet where it dawned on me that basically
all these car dudes are just massive geeks with giant gaming rigs on wheels.
it's virtually the same thing. And that's how I'm approaching it now lol.
Many of them are really pretty! Here's hoping for the next one to have a larger and more diverse turn out.
So at the beginning of the month, we told ourselves that we wouldn't go out to eat all month. That's going so well...
It's the whole reason we went to get so many groceries.
But I can't say no to delicious food T_T
One of the best breakfasts ever. Pumpkin spiced coffee, with pumpkin spice biscotti and pumpkin spice pancakes. There were so many pancakes T_T
And then we went out to eat again.
IT'S HARD NOT TO.
Friendos are like, "hey lets go get food" and you're like.... damn.
Also can I just say how much I used to hate beer? HATED it. Thought it was the nastiest shit of all time.
Idk what changed. I think my first beers were like... gross watery stuff that tastes like carbonated hay. And I had an IPA one day and was like oh my god, this is like... food. It has body and flavor and it's savory but sweet and complex and thick and velvety and and and *sips gently* mm.
Don't..... come near me with lite or pale lagers. Don't do it I will bite you
And no one wants this coming towards them for bites. Believe it.
OH YEAH. So I started the Inktober thing. Was really excited to do it! Started off really strong. This was I think day 3 or something.
But then the prompt that made me stop started with "Husky" and it irritated me. It was weird, it was like my creativity just came to a full blown stop the moment I was directed to something more specific and refined, as opposed to something more vague and open-ended like "Mindless."
I think after that it was "Freeze" and then after that it was "Build." I was instantly turned off. If anyone cared or wondered why I suddenly stopped putting out miniatures lol... there you have it.
But.. there are a few good ones coming up. I just did one the one for today; "Ash."
We've been doing this for a while now and it's one of the things I most look forward to every week.
It used to be on campus, but now it feels much more... lax? I guess? Idk campus was pretty fun too. We moved because a few others had started their own thing in the same buildling, and while we tried to integrate, they had their vibe that they wanted to stick with- which is coo. Didn't wanna impede on that, so we moved. And now we can open durians without worrying about the ventilation system ^_^
We watched a really good movie that evening. The Wailing. It was crazy long, but actually like.... decent. I had to watch an explanation of the film because it's so.... like... k-drama mind-fucky. But it was good.
Also I want these.
October has been wooOOOOOooOOoOOOooo
So much so that I had to reassess my connections and relationships. We good now. Always was, everything is okay with me in that aspect, I guess I just needed to finally cut it out for good and this past week made that really easy.
ALso...
N'zoth stuff started coming out and I burst through the BFA storyline so fast lol. Just to catch up. Only did the horde side though. Bf suggests I do the Alliance side but...idk.
I'm overwhelmed lol because I still need to finish Sekiro, and I'm in the middle of Soma, and wanna make sure I'm good and ready for N'zoth stuff. Games are hard.
