Um. yeah.... Idk where to start. And I had like over 1k photos just sitting on my phone that documented everything over however long it's been since I dropped photos here. But we're just gonna do somewhat of a highlight reel. Because ... things have been
so
good
and normally, when I write like that, there tends to be a sarcastic undertone that guides the reader towards a hilarious incoming misfortune. But nah. I mean, even typing this is good. Because I'm typing on a mechanical keyboard, and it's so yummy to click. It's like typing on a typewritter mmmmmmm. Yem.
ANYWHO
LETS BEGIN WITH MY HORRIBLE ANT NIGHTMARE.
yes. ant.
like.
ant.

This is one of the core values at work, and I look at it, and think..... ants. Because I learned so much from that night. And morning.
DA HOMIE WAS visiting family in OC and hit me up.
We kicked it. He got a hotel with his sister and her friends, and so we went to get drinks after picking them up from a wrestling match, and back to their room.
The dude was down. Lady troubles. I tried to be a good big sis and give him advice, but I think he preferred the comfort of booze.
And booze was slow to take effect.
Too slow, so when all his friends passed out, he asked if we could kick it at my spot (he knows my roommate too, we all used to work together). I said sure, he could drink himself stupid and pass out and be safe/okay there. So I take us back, and we drink outside since by the time we arrived, my roommate was already asleep.
he looks hard af but he's a big softie. A big sweet, idealistic softie with a big heart. YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYONE PENDEJO
In my shorts and tshirt, I got into the pool to cool off since it was gross humid and the whiskey was making me warm. He just chilled at the edge and vented after his love. We were drinking Monkey Shoulder.
and that's the last thing I remember before waking up the following Sunday morning on my back lawn, with a towel over me, and my legs covered in hundreds of ants.
THANKS DIHNNY
My legs were RAW. The ants had eaten away at my entire legs, all around my crotch/bikini area, and inner thighs. Just everywhere. And I think I had spider bites too? I had rashes eeevvverryywhere, it was... both hilarious and awful
On Monday, I had to leave work early because the fresh scabs on my legs would stick to my pants and rip off when I walked.
the pain was so bad that when I got my car, I had to gently take my pants down for my legs to just breathe. It hurt lol. Skin and shit came off with the pants, you can kinda see it at the top of the picture.
Also, totally didn't shave my thighs. sorry not sorry, but I had to take a picture and text it to my coworker because the story sounds SO STUPID LIKE WHO DOES THAT
HOW DOES SOMEONE GET EATEN BY ANTS.
WELL.
THAT'S HOW.
What happened apparently was, I was gonna black out... so he pulled me out of the pool and instead of taking me inside, he layed me on the lawn because he said I threw up some roflmao- so as to not make noise and disturb my roommate because she had to be up for work at 3:30AM. He left a little written note for my roommate outside her door that told her I was outside LOL
and he walked back to his hotel in the middle of the night.
GOOD OLE DIHNNY. He's.... he's special.
What did I learn:
1. I hate whiskey
2. Ants will eat you
3. Shoulder Monkey whiskey is the devil and the ants will come
4. If you must pass out on the lawn, do not wear shorts?
YEAH THAT.
That happened. That was fun. I told him I'm not drinking whiskey with him anymore. He's probably an ant lord. Ants suck, guys. They suck.
I COLORED MY ROOMIE'S HAIR.
See, she doesn't take herself seriously whatsoever. Or anything. She just reads books all the time and makes fun of everything.
So I wanted to do a thing and see something.
She let me do the thing. So I did.
And I win. And this is why people should trust me.
The end.
O C F A I R |
So, my roomie had never been to the OC Fair or Nightmarket before. We had one weekend to go, and we ended up deciding on going to the Fair because I'd never been there either. So it'd be a first for us both.
We went to the big pretty station thingie here and took the bus
I haven't been on a bus in like 5 years LOL it was kinda cool
It also knocked off like $14 off our ticket
A lot of fried foods.
Like, a lot. Like everything there was pretty much fried somehow.
She got this huge pork leg thing, it was horrifying. I lost the photo but it was like 5lbs. Cost like almost $40 lol
Sup fam
AAAAANNNNdddddd...
So my boss is an innkeeper for a hearthstone fireside gathering somewhat near work. It goes on every Sunday. They kept telling me to come out, but I'm antisocial, so I don't. because... people.
but I did, once.
Here's how it went.
I drove 36 minutes to get there.
Got there, greeted my boss, she gave me a sheet with 3 quests on it:
1. ask a friendly player a question
2. acquire the fireside card backing
3. play a tavern brawl with someone at the gathering and show your score to the innkeeper (my boss)
Did 0 of them. I wanted the card backing, but didn't know how to get it. that would've eliminated quest #1, but i didn't wanna talk to anyone.
and I played a tavern brawl game with someone, but didn't wanna show my boss because i had already sat down and people weren't staring at me anymore.
SO THAT WENT WELL. I didn't stay long and met up with Ponies for a dramatic craigslist missed connections reading at Stages theater.
Never again.
Also it's far, so.
K-CON LA woooooooo (it was a giant commerical)
The only things I genuinely enjoyed was Seoul Street being there, and the flower boy cafe.
There was a Buzzfeed panel that I went to check out.
Was boring. It's rare that I go to panels. I only ever really go to them if my friends are in them, but I was bored, so went to check it out. And the one dude with the grey hair kept looking over at me- like not even subtley, it just became blatant and obvious and dumb so
this was him like, the whole fucking kconla2017.
i don't even know who these people are, honestly i was hoping eugene would be there but he wasn't, and meh.
but yeah, this was what the floor was like.
Just sponsors, some beauty/face crap booths, merch, and that's pretty much it.
Flower boy cafe was cute.
I was the only one who got cold brew. They bring you coffee of your choice.
Could pick caramel macchiato, caramel something, some sweet coffee thing, and cold brew.
man, cold brew is good. people don't even know.
um, but it was basically them being assigned to tables and they just come and sit there and talk to you and act interested in you. fan service. was cute.
Um, I started playing Legion thanks to friends at work. Free expansion and play time? = sure, yeah I'll try it again lol. But so far, I really like it. It's cool. Def worth checking out.
Annnnnd also FFXIV :|
also because of friends at work.
These are horrible shots, but idc honestly lol. I'm playing them now and it's fun. And homely. Makes me happy ^^
Also did a thing for Ponies.
He's doing a thing. Needed people for it. So. I did a thing.
I'll link it when it's done.
I TURNED 30! On a Wednesday.
So, the Saturday before that Wednesday, I did the only thing my 30 year old ass wanted to do:
Go to the OC Nightmarket, visit these guys:
And stuff my face in good company.
It was perfect.
Simple pleasures.
Loves ones and food.
Another homie hit me up and we went to this place called Yogi Yogi.
lol okay....
so the waiter asks me if I wanted my food mild, medium, or xtra spicy.
I told this fool medium. he looks at me, in Korean, i swear to you, and said "you sure? it says medium but medium is actually very spicy"
i wanted to smack this fool like BOY I EAT KOREAN FOOD I KNOW YOUR MEDIUM IS ACTUALLY MORE LIKE FIRE THAN AVERAGE MEDIUM SPICY OK
but I didn't. I just nodded and said yeah, I want the medium spicy.
Shit was not spicy. I was kind of insulted lol. Like, not even because I LIKE spicy food, but they lessened the intensity of the spiciness. It was MILD. It didn't completely annoy me, but was still like.... huh. really bro?
Cleaned it up and left.
COSPLAY STUFF!!
So I was totally not even planning to do new cosplay. But like, I did.
It had to be easy, because I hate making cosplays, but obscure enough, but also relevant enough, and also do-able with the fabrics I had on hand.
Long Beach Comic Con was a little over a week away.
So I got to work.
I have a lot of this pleather fabric. And my cosplay has a lot of straps.
Boom. Lets do it.
This harness is literally painters tape wrapped in pleather fabric.
the unholiest pain my agnostic ass-- to measure out each strip and .... all that crap.
That's how the straps were done. Measuring everything was so dumb. I'm sure there was a more simple way of doing it, and I just had to do it in the most meticulous way imaginable, but whatever. I worked on it little by little throughout the week after work.
On my actual birthday, my roommate surprised me with these gifts.
The movie, Antz.
how so lovingly thoughtful of her.
The sake was nice. And the chopsticks made me lol.
Was a good start to my day.
And then when I got to work, a coworker gave me a gift bag. It was full of this:
I think I laughed for a year straight.
Have I mentioned ever, how awesome it is to have funny friends? Because it is.
That night after work, a group of us all went out for birthday ramens.
And ice cream next door.
:(
now i want ice cream
And when I got home, I realized that my roomie had put this on my door.
And decorated the hallway with bats :')
How lucky am i?
truly.
Long Beach Comic Con was approaching. I had a cosplay to finish.
but guess what.
NO- we had to go watch movies and drink beer after work. just... had to.
But by Friday night, I finally got everything done!
If you haven't guessed by now, I cosplayed Misa Amane from Death Note.
but like, this version:

because.
it's the least cliche and blatantly sexualized way to cosplay her lol. kind of. And that whole situation was crazy and one of my favorite moments.
The nice part here was that I had a hotel room. So no annoying drive back and forth this time.
Funny thing about Long Beach is that it's probably the only con I go to where I actually find comics to buy.
Look at how cute they are!
DOUG!
Saw him shooting and hit him up cuz I promised him we would shoot :D
I like Doug a lot. He's kind of like a lone ranger photographer guy who knows everyone but sticks to himself. He's smart, lol.
We shot and the peekchurs came out so niiiiiice ^^
I shot with some other people too, but I doubt they'll ever surface.
Regardless, I got a lot of praise for my prisoner Misa cosplay! It made me really happy :)
All in all it was pretty chill. And I bought stuff :B
but, there was one thing that I had to address before the con ended!
Long story short, korean cosplay photog pulled some scummy shit. i excommunicated him- found out he was slandering me cuz his fuck up became public knowledge, ruining his reputation. he blamed me, and avoided me like the plague. *SPOILER* wasn't me who was telling everybody what happened :P
i approached him at long beach, tried to talk to him about wtf was going on. basically he's mad at me his life sucked following his mistakes? the internet was mean to him. golly he was so scared, that he had to actually HIDE from me when he saw me at Fanime! cuz i'd turn him into a frog i guess, i don't know tbh. What mentality does it take to completely shed oneself of any ounce of responsibility and blame someone else- for your own fuck up? It was flustering. But I finally heard what I can only assume he was telling everyone else (in that clique of photogs). I still have no idea what any of that had anything to do with me but.. okay!
That happened. It was good though- clarified what was happening kinda. I've excommunicated pretty much everyone in that clique/scene lol.
Doug does not associate with them. Doug is older, and smart. That is why I like Doug, lol.
BUT LOOK WHAT I BOUGHT!!
That little card on the left is a postcard I bought for my mom. I sent it to her, and she got it. It took 2 weeks, can't imagine why it would, but when she finally got it she said everyone there couldn't shut up about it.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it.
LOOKIT THE SHOTS DOUG TOOK :B

so coooooooooooooooooooooooool ^_^
thanks Doug!
My aesthetic.
Tis the season:
EVERYTHING HAS BEEN AWESOME
I've been spending a lot of time after work, at work. Just chillin with people. It's been... really, really, really nice.
hug ALL the wc3 posters!
Went to go see it with blengzy peeps
After IT, I suggested we go eat at this one place that I loooooooove.
It ended up being just two of us.
DAT FIRE THO
extra $4 but so worth it
We killed it, just us two. So worth.
It's an expensive dish but I mean look at it.
CAR FUN.
dropped several hundred dollars on my baby girl. that was nice.
but she's good now :D
HALLOWEEN TIEM IN DISNEYLAND!
Yeup. And this year, they brought it to California Adventure!
The first night, I just went by myself to look around. I went on I think Star Tours and that was it lol. Everything else was just to go exploring and take photos.
Of course, Disneyland was glowing with orange lights.
Goofy is the only character among those fool who's for sure had sex.
(he has a son named Max. Just think about that.)
The very next day, I returned with a friend.
He wore my Oswald ears.
:)
We went on the most important ride that night: Haunted Mansion ^_^
He hadn't seen it, or Halloween Time in either of the parks. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun.
Movie nights after work are a special kind of joy
And we went back to Disneyland again, after poki
He has his own Oswald hat.
Someone complimented us because I was also wearing my Ortensia ears.
:D
We weren't even dating then.
The best part is when you're not even trying to be with anyone, and then things just falls into place, naturally.
One of my favorite things about how we got closer over time is that he never once asked me; "so what type of music do you listen to?"
Oswald is best boy.
i love spoiling him
just as much as he loves spoiling me
one night, we were up drinking sake until 6am because we had to finish watching Dad of Light because everyone else was finishing the last two episodes that night and I was behind by like 6 episodes.
We finished it, it's cute. Everyone should watch it.
I cried.
We also had to go into work that morning- that was so fun.
So Full Moon Features contacted me months ago to work with them on a promotional video.
That day finally came last week. I put my Leechwoman cosplay back together with some alterations according to their direction, and drove up to the studio in Hollywood with boyfriend.
They wanted the make up different, close to the J-Horror Leech woman they have. And the dress was tiny bit different. Other than that, I was excited to get back into wifey's cosplay. Especially for Mr. Band himself. Was an honor. And this was boyfriend's first time being a handler or doing anything like this, so it was doubly exciting for the two of us.
Once we finished shooting, they allowed me to take some shots of some stuff around the studio.
The promotion was for the full box set for Toulon's trunk with all of the movies ever.
Was pretty incredible.
The first time I ever talked to Charles Band, he ended up with half of Nibbles in his mouth, and it looked like I was regurgitating it into him. Like, 3ish years ago.
There are clips too: https://twitter.com/fullmoonhorror
Additionally, I also got some awesome gifts.
The whole thing was awesome, and I'm looking forward to future stuff with them.
Once we finished there, I washed up as best I could in the bathroom and I took us to a fav peruvian spot in ktown.
hit the spot ^_^
and he liked it
and then Little Tokyo
and later, Korean for dinner
here is one of the amazing gifts Full Moon Features gave me
It's the fucking 1:1 scale J-Horror Leech woman replica T____T and it's soooooooooooo nice
gaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh she's so beautiful.
I still haven't decided where I wanna put her. But she's ... my pride and joy right now lol.
Man, this dude is like... a memory foam mattress for my brain.
He stages food for me because he knows I'm gonna take photos of it :B
Surprises me with yummy snacks
He wanted me to play the P.T. demo on his ps4 ^_^
Reason #759 why boyfriend is boyfriend:
Lazy days at home with movies, video games, food, and snuggles are the best
Suffice to say...
It's been so dope.
Also, Cuphead is fun
and infuriating
WHEEEEN YOU WALK AWAYYYY
YOU DON'T HEAR ME SAAAAY
PLLEEEEEAAAAAASSEE
OOOOOH BAAAYYYBEEEEE
