Cuddling

When someone mentions wrestling, my mind just immediately imagines people cuddling ferociously. Strategically, but ferociously... but still cuddling. It's like, who's the most vicious cuddler? The best cuddler. The ONE cuddler. Right? Yeah.

Two nights ago was the UFC cuddle concert. It's not a subject I know much about. The first time I even dabbled w/ it was when people were blowing up about Ms. Rousey. And the only reason I discovered her was through my old co-worker who absolutely loved her. He showed me a clip of her absolutely owning this other chick (Cat Zingano) in 14 seconds via submission. with an armbar attack! On instagram. The whole match fit in an instagram clip. I was impressed with her, and watched her matches, which led me to follow her fights and the other Pokemon she had to fight.

So, I was familiar with Ms. Tate and Ms. Holm. Very familiar with Holm. And her high kicks. She's basically Hitmonlee.

http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/pokemon/images/2/23/Giant_Hitmonlee.png/revision/latest?cb=20150905054053

And Tate was like... a really good snuggler towards the end. So good, Holm almost passed out.
Which Pokemon is that? I can't think of one. All the matches ran several rounds though.

Wait, why is Cynthia even mentioning UFC fights?

Chu.

Chu said he and peoples were gonna meet up at his place to watch the fight, and then head to downtown Fullerton afterwards. Downtown Fullerton rang a bell... I was just there! He said I could join them to watch the fight or meet them downtown later. I opted to check out the fight.
I also had a really yummy snack for them to try, and this would be the perfect time for it. -- Because I didn't take pictures of record anyone trying out the snack, I'll have you know it was a bag of Beanboozled jellybeans and they were horrible and I am so sorry for ever buying them and making other people eat them. There is a bunch of spit and stinky, chewed up rotten egg flavored jellybeans in Chu's kitchen dumpster and for that, I am sort of sorry. Beer didn't help, but it did. It was weird.

 SUPA CUDDURA!

 Oso was there.
Look at him. He doesn't give a fuk, lol.
Also... I thought it was funny that he was wearing another The Clash tshirt. He wore another one the last time I saw him, but it was white.

Behold. A Chu. And to his right we can see Noomi. I've met Noomi before-- haven't seen him a looooong time! It was awesome seeing him when I walked in.

Chu hates everything so this is probably the last you'll see of him
e v e r

 note the L V F T. shirt

 YAY CUDDLING
I had no idea what was going on when I sat down, omg.
Oso, Noomi and I just kept talking and Chu probably hated us for it

And then later, Oso's little bro showed up!

OH MY GOD!
Ok. Remember in my LBCE post how I said that it was a small world but didn't go into why? No? Well, I did.
Okay.
So like, Those Estar Guars cosplayers know Oso's little bro! Han Cholo and Lil Bro are like, besties since high school or something like that.
How did this even become a thing? Well, while I was at LBCE, I was sending Chu photos throughout the day, stressing how much he sucked for not going, and he eventually showed those pictures to Oso, who then was like...
hey.
ask her if Han Cholo's name is ______.
Chu did. and I was like, ya.
And then Oso was like, omg.
And I was like omg.
And Chu was like, ugh.
Actually, I don't know what Chu was thinking, but if I had to guess, he probably was like why at they talking through me.

Small world!
So when I saw Lil Bro, we talked about all that and I tried to encourage them to go to Wondercon.
It didn't look promising. But we'll see how that goes.

Finally the fight was over.
It got pretty serious, and I kinda was surprised with how much I got into it. Like, it was stressful to watch, but I couldn't look away. So, lack of photos. =\
Also, I felt kinda bad towards the end of the night becaaauuuuse lol.... guys can be trolls, and they decided to troll their friend, who is also my friend. Oso took a picture of me flipping the bird, sent it to him in a group chat, and he kinda got pissed at me. He thought it was personal, lol. I'd be pissed too, lol.
If your friends send you a photo of them all hanging and stuff, flipping you off while you're at work? Yeah, I'd be pissed, lol.

By the time it was over though, it was 10, and I guess Fullerton wasn't a thing anymore. But we were all hungry so we went to this place instead.

I saw a gross photo of someone who I never wanted to look at in that context. That was fun.
"Gross" is probably a little harsh, maybe off-putting is more appropriate. Either way, ew.

Nice place. I regret what I got and instead wish I had gone with the mac n cheese, lol.

They probably noticed, but towards the end of the night I got super quiet.
There was a lot going through my head.
Having to be up at 3:30 for work was one of them, and then the long day that followed was another. Also my bank account, lol. Fucking car and power steering bullshit... And yet, I keep spending money! It's my own fault.
And last week I missed a math test. Work scheduled me until later than I was available on that day, and I didn't realize what day it was until I got home and looked at the time.
I emailed my instructor asap, but she hasn't gotten back to me, and I all I could think about was my grade and what I'd say to her today if I didn't hear back.

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH
Lot of thinks. Worst time to do it, but yeah, lol. This is what beers are for.

But being there w/ them was great. Oso and Noomi are funny. Noomi had to leave early, sadly. He reminds me a lot of Darrel. Just BOOM, energy. lol. Fun.

The title of this post is misleading and I'm sorry, lol. To be fair though, Oso was showing Noomi how to cuddle on Chu's couch shortly after I got there. It was pretty overwhelming. I was concerned they'd hurt each other. Maybe next time, with enough booze, there will be cuddling.
With Oso and Chu.

I'll make sure to confirm this with the title "Cuddling ver 2.0" if that ever does happen.

and... I have class in an hour. woot.

Code Word: Ramen

    Okay guys, look.

It's not my fault that ramen exists and I have to eat it when someone gets in touch with me. It's not. At this point, it's pretty safe to say that throwing "ramen" in to a conversation with the intent of beckoning is almost guaranteeing that I'll leave my room.

a l m o s t

almost.

almost.

And I am so sorry, because I'm painfully broke.
Remember when I wrote about my car's power steering eating shit? Well, if you didn't read about that... it totally happened, and it totally sucked.
And I'm totally still feeling the cut from that. Was an expense I was absolutely not prepared for, lol.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY:

"wanna get ramen?"

suddenly I'm not home anymore and my pants feel tighter and i'm happy and who are you is this my skin WHERE DID MY ROOM GO

nah.
actually...
remember how I said in my last entry that I forgot an important document at my old store in Burbank that I technically cannot work without?
Well. I did.
My friend generously stopped by there for me and picked it up! He was in the area and coming home (he lives down here too. him and his friend both do, who I also know) and grabbed it to give to me.
Incredibly sweet of him!
I didn't wanna bother special bestie again, especially since he lives no where near the OC, and this seemed like the best option, lol. Also like, he told me to get in touch with him once I'm down here, so... boom.

And he totally used the code word on me.
To be completely honest, after I got out of work I was just gonna pick it up from him quick and go to Little Tokyo to get ramen by myself. I felt bad when he asked me if I wanted to get lunch w/ him and his buddy, lol. Ramen, to be specific. We hadn't really made any plans for that day other than after a certain time, I was gonna get the thing from him and that's it.

BUT, YOU KNOW.
SO.

I have so many questions for myself
like
if I'm so broke, why would I be going to Little Tokyo?
That's like, gas money, parking, ramen, boba, another manga volume, maybe 2, then more gas money to get home.

Well.
Because I'm a stupid shithead.
And Little Tokyo is special. ok?
my happiness shouldn't have to be sacrificed because my power steering hose was drunk. i'm just sayin

shutting up.

He, lets call him Chu, said to meet him at a spot close to his place and he'd drive us to the ramen place. I got there and was expecting, lets call him Oso to be with him, but he's too cool for cars and was gonna meet us there on his bike. Mr cool guy. JEEZ.

Note: Chu and Oso are the cutest gal pals and they love it when I tell them how cute they look together.
Especially Chu.

The place was called Shin-Sen-Gumi. Apparently there's one in Little Tokyo (I've never been) but Oso said LT was too far, so we just came to this one.

It was cute inside. Very modest

The girls were adorable.
I feel like they were Oso and Chu's favorite part about this place, lol.

LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE

Oso doesn't mind getting his picture taken, clearly. He was a great subject.

Chu hates everything ever.
"Bipper."

nom

Observe: Oso being cool
and Chu hating everything

V E R D I C T :   It was meh. The broth was blander than what I'm used to. The pork stuff on the side there was pretty good. It was smothered in garlic ;) and some other sauce stuff. Good though.
But the ramen itself wasn't the best.

Apparently, according to Chu, the one in Little Tokyo is better. He agreed that it wasn't the best.
PS; they love ramen as much as I do, I think. Or at least, are open to stuffing their faces with ramen as much as I am.

So like, we finished up, and went outside to go our separate ways
When Chu was like, omg lemme ride yer bike! T__T
Oso was like, nah you'll fuck it up
and Chu was like na uh promise lemme ride yer bike! u___u
And eventually Oso was like, SIGH. ok.
So he goes to turn on the ignition...

it won't start.

TURNS OUT he left his lights on and the battery died.
The bright side... at least Chu didn't break it. :D

So we're out there trying to figure out what to do. Jump it!
No one has cables, lol. So Chu is like.. maybe if you put it in neutral and I push it and you try to start it? lol....

mhm.

....... OFF TO AUTO ZONE!
We all learned something. Oso doesn't need his lights on during the day, and bikes are heavy.
I danced around the lot idiotically being no help whatsoever and took pictures. They found it entertaining.

Oso calls AAA just in case, and put the lady on speaker.
She sounded like a really nice, middle-aged white lady that sounded like someone's aunt from Michigan. When he was trying to tell her where his bike was parked, it was hard to not laugh because she couldn't understand Shin-Sen-Gumi, no matter how he said it to her, and the description was hilariously drawn out way longer than it had to be.
I'm sorry.
It was funny.

 It was.

omg i just realized his shirt says "team lvft worldwide."
JUST googled it.
the shit-giving will be endless.
endless, i tell you

HI, OSO.
You so silly

So, he got jumper cables

And everything turned out okay.
Chu's EHNFENETEHHH rev'd up Oso's Harley (lol) and everyone was happy.
The cables now live in Chu's EHNFENETEHH's butt.
Or trunk.

And that's when it was time to go
but then Oso was like

LET'S GET BOBA
and I was like

YES

And Chu was like

................... sigh

Ramen + Boba = never no
That's exactly what I do when I go to Little Tokyo. I get ramen, and then I get boba drinks, and life is good again. I don't know if Oso is like, my spirit animal or what, but he gets me. He gets me. We shared great stories to each other while Chu almost puked on into his bowl-- it was a precious bonding moment.

Off to boba goodness, we went.

The place we went to is called Bambu. Cutest little spot. They offer all kinds of drinks:
Smoothies, iced coffees, iced teas, blends of different shit, it was awesome. Huge variety.

And they played old Disney cartoons ^_^

They went with boobie Vietnamese iced coffee, I got a taro milk tea with booooobbiiieess.
They learned who Armin Meiwes is :D
"Bipper"

Then it was time to go for realsies because Chu had a family thing.

BUT NOT BEFORE JUMP STARTING OSO'S BIKE AGAAAAAIIIN :D

Chu's about to flip some tables and rage quit their friendship looooololol
we totally knew he would have to jump it again. he just didn't want to xD

buhbyyyee Osooooooo
joo so silly.

From there, since it was like middle of rush hour, it took us forever to get back, but thankfully he played iKON in the car and everything in the world was good again.
Also like, in "My Type," it's totally B.I. that says "GARL YANNO THAT I LAV YA," not Bobby!
We argued about this. It's important.

B I P P E R
oh that's an earthquake.
hullo.

Anyway, yesterday was really nice. Was not expecting to see them for a whiiiiiile. And I totally had something for them to try, but left it here by mistake. Next time.

Moving here absolutely does not suck in the slightest. lol. I'm pretty stoked to be here. In Anaheim. Idk wtf I was so hesitant about before...
no wait yes I do. I was in a relationship before, and yeah. We all know how that goes. But I'm promising myself to not put anything before school.
Annnnd also, I live in a kinda closed off complex thingie, so I can go running wheneeevver I want, all around here. Which is what I'm gonna start doing again. Running felt really good, especially at night. So that's gonna be a thing. I'll probably start tonight, just a modest 30 minutes to start. Haven't gone running in a while, I don't know if my legs are gonna be too happy about it tomorrow. Not unless I drink myself pissless.
OH. wait
No. I shouldn't do that.
Tomorrow... is gonna be a day. lol A long day.
You'll see.
I'm getting kidnapped? A teaser of what's to come, I suppose.
We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Yesterday was cute. Hopefully next time we can actually make it out to Little Tokyo. I need to pick up some manga.
^_^
