Arrr

   Pirates. Arrrrrr....

I wonder what pirates were/are really like. Like, do they still have cannons and stuff on their ships? I know they're definitely real; especially in like... those south eastern seas around Cambodia or some shit.

Okay, I just googled them and they don't look as cool. Nevermind.

WELL, this brings me to the other surprise that Fett threw in last week, in addition to the many surprises that Monday.

SO. Last Thursday Fett again wouldn't tell me where we were going, but gave me a hint to try to figure it out myself. It was probably the worst, most vague hint in the world, ever. My guesses were for naught. =\
The drive was long, and I grew restless.

Once we arrived to our destination, I was totally, like, OMFG. Probably multiply that by 10 a couple times, though. And for some reason, it was like I knew it the whole time, but thought it'd be too good to be true.

NOPE.

We were at Pirate Dinner Adventure!!

If you've heard of Medieval Times, it's the Pirate version. basically :P

This was a first for me, as I've never been to any kind of dinner theater thing or event. So...not only was this totally randomly amazing and awesome, but it also reminded me of one of my favorite episodes of Bob's Burgers where Linda starts her own dinner theater in the restaurant, and and and... ever since that episode, I've always wanted to attend a dinner theater. SO LIKE, OMG!! :D

Fett's been suffering through a lot of Bob's Burgers, so it was doubly awesome to quote that episode and and and... okay. You get it, I'm sure.

Well. We arrived, and the 'stage' was a massive pirate ship, as pictured above, with seating all around it. It was totes in credible. But we didn't get into the theater for a little bit. We went into the main lobby, where there was a spacious, beautifully decorated bar that kinda looked like the inside of a ship, with a mini stage behind it, two shops, and they have several hosts going around with appetizers. It was kind of amazing. I had... ALL of the appetizers you guise. JalapeƱo poppers? YES, I'LL TAKE 50 ZILLION, THANKS.

Fett got us these cups! He got soda I think and I got pineapple juice ^^
(We're boring, shhh.)

So while we sat in the lobby area, a little pre-show came on. Mr McGee (if memory serves)
introduces all the color-coded pirates that lead the audience to their assigned seating sections in the theater, as well as introduce the other characters in the show. There's a mini aerial show performed by the "gypsy", and then we're all called off to our sections.
It was cooooolll ^_^

We had the yellow Pirate, Antonio!

 Our plaaacematt.
It was neat, we got seated at the very front of the yellow section. Our row sat 4, so it was myself with Fett, joined by an elderly couple. They were super nice, and it was enjoyable for me watching their reactions to the performance. :P

We had a 3 course meal, beginning with soup!

OH YEAH. See the woman in red? That's totes my co-worker! lololol
I had no clue we were coming here, but I knew that she worked here, so seeing her sing and perform was pretty awesome. She's got some pipes! I was so proud of herrrr!!

 Beef skewer ^_^ nom nom!
Fett had the roasted chicken

More of the aerial show!

The story was that a Princess and a last descendent of a gypsy tribe were captured by pirates. And the last gypsy was the only one who knew how to calm the dragon protecting a treasure that Sebastian the Black was after. It was incredibly cute, in addition to incredibly cheesy. We both enjoyed it thoroughly. Fett even got to be part of the show and was asked to come aboard the ship!

A full body shot of Fett?!
With a rope around his neck, even.
Errr.. actually just kidding. I think there was a full body shot of him from when we went to Disney.
idk.

ANYWAY.
Our last course of our meal was a yummy chocolate brownie thing with icecream ^_^. Nom nom!
After the show, we got our picture taken with "Treasure" the pirates' wife - played by my co-worker- and Sebastian the Black.

We split shortly thereafter with full bellies and thoroughly entertained!
It was a pretty cool experience that I recommend everyone check out when they're in L.A. or in the L.A. area.

IT WAS PUR COOL, YOU GUISE. T'WAS PUR COOL.

Oh, omg. So like, a few nights after that leaving work, one of my co-workers needed a ride home, so ... me and another co-worker offered to drive him home. On our way to drop him off, we spotted a dog walking down the sidewalk. This was at around like... almost 11 at night. So of course I'm like OH GOD STOP THE CAR IT NEEDS OUR HELP, right? Like.. spastic and shit. So we pull over and I sprint over to the dog AND LIKE CHECK IT'S VITALS AND SHIT (check for a tag) and find that it had no tags on its' chain!
We look around to see if anyone else was out walking and maybe just let their dog roam around? No luck. We walked around for a little while actually, trying to figure out where the dog had come from, and they even walked up to a couple of houses and knocked on the door. Only one house answered through their intercom, saying they didn't know whose dog it was.

This was the doggie. It didn't have balls, but we also weren't gonna dig around to double check so we just guessed it was a girl.
Eventually we had to leave her somewhere because it was super late, and we didn't wanna take her to the shelter. They're not "no kill" and we didn't want that for her, in case no one came to reclaim her. So we did the next best thing and left her in a gated yard full of water bowls and flowers and plants, right next to an apartment building. Someone was bound to see her the next morning.

Oh. And I'm sure a bunch of you guise saw, but I made some more charms.

These are the Chibi versions of the fully detailed ones I sell, except they cost less and they're way more... 'cutsie' you could say. If you're into that.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna sell them yet.

But I do want to announce that I am now shipping all my items internationally, so if anyone across seas wants to order some, let me know and I'll make it happen! Only thing is unfortunately because shipping costs more to send over seas, it's the only instance where I have to charge ($3) for shipping. But hey, at least the option's there now, right?!
And it'll come directly from me to you with muy muy love! ^_^

Anyway, I'm off to see Blanca and Care at their housewarming party tonight.

I have a better camera (Galaxy S4) now so hopefully they'll come out better. And tomorrow I'll be filming another IMO for my youtube channel.

Wee, weekends! :D
Have a good night everyone!
