Lord. Okay first off... I moved!
PROBABLY the most shit I've had to do within a couple days time was balance work, school + assignments, and packing/moving. And make some time for a weensy bit of WoW and some Heroes of the Storm (cuz I got in da aaaallphaaaa aww yeeaaas *happy dance*) but at like 4 am because my days have been BLEUGH.

ALRIGHTY THEN.

I'll try to recap as much as I can remember. We had a lot of fun, that's for sure. We even did this thingie were there was an afterparty on Saturday, and we went to it. :P hee. T'was a jovial eve.

 One of the first faces we saw was Kaira, at her Thirteen's Closet booth. No clue she would be there, but was happy to have found her. She was in Louise cosplay with her own tailor made ears! ^_^

I thought this companion cube was awesome. Anytime someone can pull off a cute humanized companion cube it makes my mouth stretch longitudinally into a smile.

My coworker/friend Judy showed up with her man as Magenta and Frankie! They looked awesome, lol. Familiar faces make cons even more fun ^_^

The first day, Friday, I went as Ilsa's Leechwoman from PM3. Nothing too different other than her make up is slightly more tame and she wears layers of stuff over her dress.

Saw this dude and absolutely lost my shit. I had to stop him and let him know how awesome he was for doing this. Many might not know of El Chavo del Ocho but it was a Mexican sitcom that I watched with my dad as a little kid. Chavo, the protagonist, was poor and lived with his sister and father in a dumpy complex with crazy, nosy, and invasive neighbors, but he always came up with games to play and kept himself entertained with what he had. His barrel was his go-to hiding spot when shit got too real.
Roberto Gómez Bolaños, the actor who played Chavo and many other beloved characters (amongst the Hispanic community) recently passed away, and we all shat bricks.

Saaanddyyy!!! Lord, I haven't seen this girl in years. 

She and I met under... different circumstances, to say the least. But we are very like-minded in our interests, and she moved away to settle in with her Azn! Yes, she too has an Azn. And she's also hispanic. WE'RE LIKE TWINSIES. She was in town for only a few days, but made time to swing by Comikaze. I was really happy to see her after all this time.
We updated each other about our lives, which... pretty much was like.. the same thing we both experienced. And it was just really nice. Felt good to know someone else that was in that same circle back in the day and like.. just yeah. Hi, Sandy.

I didn't realize that this booth was even here because it was at the other end, and we hadn't walked around the floor that much, but Fett noticed it and so I was like oooh lets go and see if they have dollsies and stuff! So we did, and the people there were like OMG YOU'RE RELEVANT, and I was like ;) and they were like PICTURE? and I was like MHM ;)

And then I turned around to see where Fett was when dude in dark sunglasses with hot chick come towards me and are like OMG YOU'RE RELEVANT and I was like MHM ;) and hot chick goes THIS IS CHARLES BAND, HE CREATED PM and I was like NA UH.

and she was like YA IM SRS. And I look at him and go "no you're not... are you him, really?" and he's like ya, totally him, das meeee, and then I was like ZOOOOOMMMGGG /fangirl

He showed me his badge to prove it to me, lol. 

I was fumbling my words and couldn't language correctly, but he was oogling all over my cosplay and and and and and... SIGH.

It was the best moment ever. He said that he didn't often see a LW cosplay but I was the best onnnne and that I did her justice and and and ^____________^

I can't even stress how awesome it was to get such a compliment. from the fucking CREATOR. I could've sworn Nibbles shat in my mouth from excitement. There was only one other thing that could've made this just fucking insane.

That Blade cosplayer was there too. We spotted him briefly as we were walking through Artist Alley, he seemed to be heading somewhere so I didn't bother him... BUT OH MAN.

Love it. I hope we see more of him more often because I sure as hell appreciated it!

So soon after this, we went to the after party at the Nokia.

There we walked around like terrified deer until I spotted Thuan after much texting. He brought us over to a corner where we saw Cynthia with Mark, and this dude (whos' name I totally forgot! Sorry!) but he was cosplaying as Leon!!

So badass. Leon the Professional is probably one of my favorite movies ever because I have issues.

Oh, and by this time my wig was annoying me so much that I just took it off and YOLO.

Cynthia and I went to the bathroom and this is what happened.

Totally recorded us. but I haven't even touched that footage yet, lol.

It was fun. There was an awesome 80's cover band that played, and we all got in the pit and like... did the thing where jumping, and excitement, and music listening is engaged and... yay. and stuff.

Bahb met us there later and we just hung out there for a little while afterwards. Once everyone left we headed off to our cars. Fett and Bahb bonded over things. It was cute. Dang hybrids.

We were pooped. We could've totally skipped the 3rd day and been content, but.. passes weren't cheap and we were getting our money's worth so... onward!

It wasn't too long after we arrived that a panel we wanted to see was about to start.
This one was especially interesting to me because it highlighted dudes of cosplay. You see SO much propaganda and shit about chicks cosplaying, most of the time in skimpy outfits to promote themselves, that dudes don't get much props. We all know sex sells but it's always the same shit, so this time it was about something other than huge boobs, which was nice because damnit, we know your boobs are big, thank you, but lets give everyone else some recognition for their craft, too, okay?!

The panel was really fun, and refreshing. They talked about their skill, their investments, the work they put into their cosplay, the harassment they also get (yeah, including getting groped) and touched on body image, but not much which THANK GOD. Save that for the other 3 trillion panels at every other con ever. Guys just don't seem to give a shit that much about what other people think of them, which I think is awesome. We should like, learn from that.

We split before the event was officially over, but very satisfied w/ our weekend. We had an awesome time and got to chill with fwandsies. 

By the time we got home we took the most delicious nap in the world. T'was very rejuvenating.

There's been soooooooo much stuff going on since then. 

Fett and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary last month, also. That's basically nothing, but it's a nice start. He did something really amazing for us, which will have to wait to be disclosed for another post. 

Aaaaand of course the move! I now live with 4 housemates who are all really chill. It's heaven. 

Some of the parties held here make my soul lol because you'd never believe what they end up doing.

Thanksgiving was spent with Fett's family, once I was off work. It was very, very lovely. I feel at home with them every time we're all together. Not to mention that a lot of the things his mom cooks are very similar to what Peruvian dishes are, so it's extra cozy. They, as a family, are going to be visiting their home country in February, and asked me if I would be able to house sit for them. It was such an honor for them to trust me like that. I mean, it's not even because I'm not a dipshit that holds zero accountability or responsibility for anything, and I'm boring and introverted, but like... still.  lol. That was really wonderful for me. I'll miss them, but their doggies will keep me company. And so will Fett's brother's PS3. >:D 

I may cancel my WoW sub for that time just because I'll more than likely be staying there during their time away. Unless Fett gets all of his PC parts by then!!

Anyway, the semester is almost done, and you guys don't know how much I'm looking forward to sleeping in. I'm going to take advantage of the time I'll have, because I'm taking more units next semester (with Math >_<) and oh lort, it's gonna suck so much ass.

PS: Yes, I'm back to WoW again, but I haven't even had much time to play!!! I had a meltdown last week after logging in, too. Was kicked out of my guild, and I CRIED. Really cried. I wept, and went to knock on my housemates' bedroom door and just CRIED because I got kicked from my guild LOL. 

I'll elaborate later, but it was funny. Another housemate was holding his lols back, and I don't blame him. We were all laughing about it later, because I mean... EVERYONE CRIES BECAUSE OF THESE THINGS, RIGHT? SURELY I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CRIES FROM GETTING KICKED FROM HER GUILD.

Anywho, I'm currently working on a commission, and also have a reading assignment, and a writing assignment I need to finish tonight that's due tomorrow. There goes my WoW time. That's basically what's been happening, lol. If I'm not working, I'm in class, if I'm not in class, I have shit to do for my class, if I'm not doing that, I have to squeeze in other things. This entry alone is going on... almost 3.5 hours. There aren't enough minutes in the day!! 

And now I'm sleepy, even though I made myself a latte before leaving work. 

So, I'm going to squeeze in a nap so I can stay up to finish my shit. yay.
