Tool

Wanna see something cool?

k.

That's Care and Blanca.

I don't know who this dude is but...

Something these images have in common is the name of the photographer that captured them.
I mentioned him in my last post adding that he's using me as a tool for one of his themes. Tool being the subject of the theme that is being executed for this project.

Let's just make something very clear- I am in no means a model. K? k.
Yeah, I shot a few things with some people for some stuff, but ...  It'd probably be an insult to my friend Elena if I called myself a model, lol.
If I MUST be categorized as something, I rather be called a tool.

SUP GUYS. YEAH, SO YANNO, I'M LIKE, KIND OF A TOOL. AND STUFF. SO.

Anyway
so I went over to Mr. Sirianni's last week (I think?) to get fitted for an outfit. Pretty stoked to wield the shit he's having me use for this project, let me just say, because it's sick.
I also really like that he feels similarly about horror themes; the cute-gross shit is his aim and I'm so down with that. He best described it as wanting to capture things that people generally view as innocent and endearing and twist them into the total opposite, but retaining their elements. I love it, and am personally a lover of that exact concept, so in addition to this project I hope to work with him more in the future. THE WORLD NEEDS MORE GROSS CUTE SHIT. OH THE MAGICS WE CAN CREATE.

Mr. Anthony Sirianni, ladies and gentlemen.
Go bug him on Facebook. Do it.

Without giving too much away, here's some... stuff. And what he was working on.
Lots of removal of lining. And also that one reality show with the tattoo arists and Dave Navarro hosting it for who knows whatever reason.
Is he a tattoo artist or something? Like, why is he on the show? How is he relevant? I don't understand.

Oh, Anthony also has some companions. Enjoy them. I did.

In the end, he got most of it completed. Now it's just a matter of scheduling the actual shoot and stuuuufff. Unfortunately we both work, and he has school, so it's wonky.
SOON though. Soon.

Most importantly, it's going to be so cuuuuute in the grossest way ^_^

SO LIKE, FETT WAS LIKE, HEY LETS GO SOMEWHERE, AND I WAS LIKE OKAY, WHERE? AND HE WAS LIKE NOPE.
(this wasn't as spontaneous as it sounds- I'm mostly paraphrasing)

One evening he drove us out towards... somewhere. On the way to somewhere we drove over the Suicide Bridge. I've been here once before during the day, but it looked soooo pretty at night! It was all lit up and we even looked about for ghosties as we drove over it. No old guy or sad mommy in sight, but entertaining the idea was fun :P

Then we arrived at our destination: Old Town Pasadena.
Never been. It was the cutest little area. There were shops and lanterns and cafes and the architecture was super pretty and and and the crosswalks went diagonally across the streets just like in Japan.
It wasn't hustle and bustle with people but there were people out enjoy the town and it was just niiiiice. We walked up and down the sidewalks looking at the shops and admiring the architecture of the buildings. He wouldn't tell me which place we were going to.

There was even a Tiffany's. I had to go up to it and remember Audrey Hepburn. If only I had a coffee and sandwich....

I started humming and singing. That happens when I'm happy, it's kind of like Tourrette's.
No, it's not. But it just happens. And of course it was "Moon River"

This all came after the plans he had for us that night. Earlier, on the way there, I told him I'd treat us to Chipotle once we were done with what he had in store for us- and he told me there was no need. So I gathered that we were having dinner, but he wouldn't spill the beans.
He led us down this cute little alley

That led us to a large patio with tons of seating

And in the corner, there was a movie theater that we seemed to be walking towards...

He was sneaky. He didn't lead us right towards it. Instead he walked us around it and then turned towards the doors on the other side, and led us in.

THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS.

We go inside and there's a counter right there. He made reservations.

But like this place is like... not normal.

We take the corner and there are stairs that lead to this pretty seating area with a balcony kinda,

and escalators that lead down to this lounge in this basement place that looks like the inside of one of my Sims' houses, with like dark red carpeting and black leather furniture and red candles and shit. omg.

And there's another counter when we get down there with a lady that gives us a menu O_o.

We get vanilla cream sodas ^_^ and since we were early we just chilled on the couch for a while and... played games on our phones lol.

Our feature was 3 0 0 : Rise of an Empire
Was totally fine with that. So fine.
Xerxes? Yes. Please.

The interior here was omfg. I had no problem sitting here for an hour waiting for our feature to begin.
Once it got closer to our show time, we headed to our theater.

YOU. GUISE.

LOOK AT THESE SEATS.

WTF.

THEY RECLINED. (I don't know why this one came out weird.)

And we ordered dinner. It was delicious.
They gave us complimentary bags of popcorn.

It was super comfy and really, really, really nice. I can't even believe these places exist.
Also, I hope that I've provided many of you with ideas for date nights, lol. Because these things had never occurred to me ever, and each one has blown me away! Hahaha. You're welcome ;D

jk, jk, hehe.

300 btw was awesome. I'm sure Anita Sarkeesian will have some bitching to do about it, though. Predictably. I enjoyed both Eva Green's boobies and Xerxes' role in this sequel. Totes would watch it again.

R A M E N |  o m f g

I love ramen.
It's one of the most delicious things ever to me.
I love ramen so much that on Valentines day last year I went out by myself to Little Tokyo and sat my ass down alone and enjoyed a soup of ramen with myself, and my manga. And it was amazing.

Fett approached me last month about a Ramen show that was happening and YOU GUISE. I was like omg.

WTF is a Ramen show? It's an event where a buttload of ramen shops set up booths and you go and eat your face off. The way it works is you buy a ticket for one bowl of ramen. And you wait your ass in line, and you turn your ticket in, and enjoy that sexy ass bowl of ramen.

There were ramen shops from L.A., Las Vegas, San Jose, and even Japan. You guise... it was beautiful. And perfect.

There were so many people--

DUH.

Lots of people, and cute little stands. Also, lots of lines.
There was a long ass line for the stand that was selling Ramen Burgers.
OF COURSE it was L.A. based. Interesting, though. We didn't get in line for it. Line was cray cray.

We did however get two bowls.

First bowls we got from Monta; a Las Vegas shop.
It was awesome. One of the yummiest I've tasted. It was miso, but really creamy and thick.

The second we got from Hiromaru. Not as rich as Monta's but still yummy.
I wish we could've tried all of them, but we were pretty full after just two bowls. We also got drink tickets.

All in all it was fun. We got to go out and try something new, both in ventures and food tasting! Fett had only tried ramen like twice before, and hadn't realized that there are many different kinds. I'm glad he enjoyed the meals! Ramen is yummy, and I'll probably drag him out to acquaint his taste buds with some more at a later date ^_^.

In the mean time, I've been slacking a little bit. But good news for Noob Charms- I've another order to finish, and we did our first give-away!
Also this month is..... WONDERCON! :D Fett's very first con ever! Everything is set to go, we got hotel rooms and tickets and this new camera on my S4 should deliver tons of awesome, way more crisp photos to share with everybody! That's really the only reason I went with it, haha. For you guys :)

Amongst Wondercon, April will also contain some other fun thingies, but it'll have to wait.
In the mean time, I should get Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. The only reason I haven't yet was because of that doozy with my car battery. Unexpected finance things suck =[ but I'll catch up!

Lastly, I uploaded another segment of IMO on my YouTube channel.
It discusses the effects an MMO can have on relationships between loved ones. Families, lovers, friendships, and even those who are cut off from the world.

This one got some awesome feedback from people sharing their own experiences; something I love reading about. Like this:

This makes me so happy to read. :)
And hopefully gives many people something to reconsider when it comes to video games!

With that said, my spaghetti's getting cold :B
Night you guiiiisee
