     You know what? I'm going to admit that initially, I thought Pasadena Comic Con was going to be a lot less fun that what I actually had.
I was so horribly wrong, and glad of it!

I wasn't even originally going to go, but Topher was like... I need help Sunday for a con.
And I was like,

AND THEN YEAH. Next thing I knew I was up at at 7 and leaving here by 8. Got there at 9 and saw another face I haven't seen in FOREVER.

Not Topher. I just saw him.

Lauren! Lauren and I grew apart and some stuff got in the way, so shit went down.

But, we made amends, and I genuinely missed her. It was really good seeing her again.

 omg.

 And that's when I met Darrel. 

Cute as a button! but like... a really energetic button, lol

 we were basically there to run errands for them, lol. 

 which was totally fine and great ^_^

and fun!

 He was there repping a few people, so we did what we could to meek his spirits high through the madness!

 The coolest thing ever happened.
Lauren is familiar with ASL (American Sign Language, or what I like to call Drow signing) and noticed a group of people 'talking' in ASL just a little  ways away from her booth. She was fascinated.
And, lol, i was like ARE YOU TOTALLY EAVESDROPPING
because she could if she wanted to, lol. She wasn't but it was cool watching them.
As they neared her booth, she signaled them to come over and started 'talking' to this guy in ASL. It was really cool to watch. And you could see the excitement coming from him because... how often does an artist or voice actor just start busting out ASL to communicate with you?!
Hardly ever! This was a cool moment. They signed for a little while. Pretty cool.

 The day before was Pokemon's 20th anniversary (omg) so I wore my ghost Pokemon shirt :D

 So, as I was doing my rounds, inevitably purchasing things I don't need but must have anyway, I was pointed in the direction of a booth being tended by Mr. Travis. Why? Because I got into a conversation with another booth about horror movies. I was buying a Puppet Master poster and dude started asking mg stuff, and my cosplay of her came up, and he was like OMG I'VE SEEN YOU BEFORE and I was like ORRY and showed him a picture and he was like YA. OMG YOU HAVE TO GO TALK TO TRAVIS OVER AT THAT BOOTH HE HAS A LEECH WOMAN TATTOO ON HIS ARM, WITH BLADE. and I was like NO WEI, HOKAY.
And then I bought 3 more posters and went to talk to this Travis person.
Super cool guy. Apparently he also represents David Wong! Small world! I have some of David's prints, too. God I have so much shit I need to get framed and put up!
Anyway, yeah. This guy. dope.

 Later one, Darrel and I were sent to get food from Island's across the street.
We looked down at Geoff and Lauren, and Geoff decided to be funny and pervy up at us without realizing a lady was standing right there, watching him the whole time.

and he started laughing and pointed up at us lololol

 OH SO LET ME TELL TO YOU GUYS A THING

This booth immediately caught my eye on my first round. Hadn't even been there 45 minutes.

Walked right up to it, saw a thing, said omg brb, ran to grab my wallet and bought it, lol. I was their first customer! They took my picture lol.

 So basically, this stuff is done by a Father and Son team.
The dad sculpts everything and casts the molds, the son paints and details.
It's absolutely incredible.

 They come up w/ the coolest stuff!

Look at that Zombie Furbie!!! I wanted it, but wasn't sure how much I wanted to spend quite yet.

Eventually someone bought it though. I saw them walking around with it, and was glad to see it found a home.

 Fcuking Fallout shit omg.

 They said they're trying to branch out to larger cons, but usually do Frank and Sons toys and collectibles. I hope to see them at more cons, because I know they'd do great. Their stuff is awesome. LOOK AT THAT AT-AT!

 And, they were sweet enough to just give me this little Zombie Vaporeon, just for being so supportive. 

They said I could choose whichever Pokemon I wanted, but I thought of someone that might like the Vaporeon, so went with that little guy instead. 

All in all, it was really fun. I had a blast, and was pretty beat by the end of it. Thankfully, the traffic home wasn't too bad either. Topher says it won't be the last time, and he'll check in w/ me when he needs some help. This is great because I like helpies and I also quite like cons. 

As for what I got?

 Favorites. 

That Japanese Reanimator was a must. They had the original artwork, but I already have that on a t-shirt, so went w/ that one instead. So dope.

 Snagged that Vault Boy so fucking quick, lol.

And that Pikachu was irresistable.

but, it's not for me.

 Lucky finds. A fucking Puppet Master comic, lol. There are only like, 5 and I can never find any! But this time... PCC impressed me. The hunt is part of the fun. I have 1 and 2. And I have the 4th volume of Puppet Master Rebirth, but I want the originals. If I ever find a Leech woman variant of the 3rd issue of PM the Offering, I will have an asthma attack right there. Like, I will.

Today is my last day of my mini break from work. I had 4 days off.

Tomorrow is my first day at the new store. It's 7 minutes down the street from me, lol. Thought about walking, but at the times I'd be going in, I don't know if I'd wanna risk it. 

So, I start tomorrow. Then I'm off, and then I work all weekend in the mornings. Not too bad. 

They said my hours will pick up after this week, which is kinda like a testy week to get me accustomed to the new space. 

I met w/ the manager yesterday, too. He's pretty awesome. I was wearing a Blizzcon tee, and he noted it. We started talking about Blizzard games, and shooting games during high school. We're the same age. He used to play at LANs, too. So dope. I'm really happy. He seems awesome. We're gonna get along really well I think. He even played Warcraft 1 & 2. I gotta step up and buy them already. I've never played them. Just WC3. 

ANYWAY.. yeah. 

I was hoping to get my Disneyland pass after I pay rent, but... I went a little nuts w/ expenses again lol. So, it'll have to wait until my next paycheck. But, that's also another thing on the list. I'm getting a Disneyland annual pass for sure! 

And.. yeah. That's where I'm at now. 

And hungry. 

I think I'm just gonna walk to work tomorrow. It's a half hour walk, 7 minute drive. but whatever. It'll be a nice walk. 

I like stuff.

Stuff is good.

Now it's time for food stuff. And more Fallout. And maybe math homework. =\
