Entropy: Part II

Merry belated Holidays and Happy New Year! I hope you are somewhere warm, had a small little something to nibble on, and able to look to your side, take in the air with a nice long, slow inhale, and smile at the view before you. For tomorrow brings uncertainty that we can only hope to inhale and smile through just the same, no? :)

Time to wrap up the end of the year, shall we?

November and December are the months where The Ghost of Christmas Shopping reigns supreme and haunts every public space imaginable. Mariah Carrey has been defrosted and brings in unfathomable amounts of money. The juxtaposition of the lyrics in the song that makes it happen is... hilarious.

Let us continue!

November air got crunchier. A stronger longing for cozies beckoned from beyond the glass windows of food establishments. And we answered their calls

When Sister says she knows a place and if we're hungry, we don't question it.

First time here. Super pretty inside!

It's one of those places that would be awesome to go to if you were a businessman that had to take a bunch of shots to impress your boss with, or if you're just a foodie.

^_^

The shorter days and crunchy air bring a calm that just... mmpf! I love it. What other cozy things did November have in store for us?

BLIZZCON 2023 | $Different.00 🫰🏻🫰🏻

Yeah. This exodus of what looked like mass confusion felt like a test run with an inexperienced crew. A very expensive one for the bright eyed, bushy-tailed fans. I'm not gonna tip toe around it- it was the worst Blizzcon lol. There's only so much speculation to either attempt to justify or understand, but the end result left many wondering what even happened.

Despite my observations, we had a good time! One awesome thing that this Blizzcon brought was the gorgeous Diablo Hall. The atmosphere was superb.

While the atmosphere and beautiful installations set a haunting ambiance, without a game demo to show, the experience in this hall fell heavily on atmosphere and interactive booths. There were some photo op locations with props on display, a tattoo booth, the church viewing area and open floor space with bean bags to watch the streams, the Diablo TTRPG display, and my personal favorite; the tarot card reading booth!

I liked this hall the most because it felt less busy, and frankly it was just beautiful.

Getting to the next hall over was kind of interesting. The connecting corridor was narrowed and dark. Under less than ideal circumstances, navigating that area would be a nightmare come true.

Overwatch 2 was the beloved promotion child this year.

Overwatch's brand occupied two halls completely. What was interesting about this is, to me, was that there didn't seem to be any room for... panels. That was when I was told all panels were going to also take place in the arena. Huh.

This meant that choosing which panels to attend for various disciplines and topics like in previous years was no longer an option. There would be one set schedule and all of it was in a different building... segregated from where the community's heart beats the loudest. So instead, we got Overwatch 2... twice.

There's no use in speculating why esports wasn't in the arena. I've tried, it just gives me a headache.  Something cooler in place of esports in that hall could've been like... what was done with the Blizzard Arcade. Demo stations of the older games. The huge timeline installation of Blizzard's journey. Could've called it Chromie's Library or something. Have a museum. Give it a dilapidated library feel. Or even have the Darkmoon fair there instead of its sorry fate this year.

But... this requires staff to man the stations. And staff was short this year. Perhaps this was the compromise. And the kpop thing... was already invested in. There's no going back. Overwatch 2 has to be pushed.

Once we cleared Overwatch 2, we arrived to the Warcraft Hall.

Beautiful chimkeemg

It looked cool. There was even a tavern. To my and many others' disappointment, it was a tavern that sold no mead or spirits. This made me think of the breweries from previous years that partnered with Blizzard to create custom brews and art on the cans just for this event. Huh.

Alcohol was strictly prohibited this year. I've a lot to say on that, but not here. :)

The Warcraft Hall was the busiest of all, ya'll.

It was dank in there. I can probably attribute that to the fact that in addition to the demo stations and everything else normally in the game halls, the Darkmoon Faire was condensed into the corner of the same hall.

Historically, Darkmoon Faire had it's own hall on another floor at least. Full of vendors, trading, and sweets, it's a staple to the Blizzcon experience. This year, it was 1/4 of what it was and crammed was an understatement. I loved being there though. The atmosphere and lighting is always awesome.

My critique on size was only magnified by the lack of space that attendees had to sit at tables. Why? Because every flat surface was hijacked by traders. If you got food and needed somewhere to set it down, or just wanted to sit down from fatigue, go fuck yourself- Kyle needs the entire table to set out his pin collection! Additionally, the lines for vendors are notoriously long. But you know what, fuck those people too. Just cram them all, it'll be fine.

Again, I feel like staffing may have paved the way for many re-adjustments. But who knows. We were lucky enough to be able to get into the Darkmoon Faire twice. The first time for frozen yogurt and some mild exploration. The second for food with creative methods of feeding ourselves with two arms and no tables.

We tried the Warcraft Rumble demo. I had no idea what was happening. It's supposed to be like some other popular mobile game... I have no clue. I like the chicken though. I'm not the audience, it's fine.

Something that was especially cool was the tarot card reading station. What a unique and fun experience to give attendees!

On the down side, we were not aware that the wait would be several hours long with no warning in sight. We were lucky and got in line that same morning. Didn't bother with opening ceremonies- could always watch it later. We were 3 rows back and waited in line for 2 hours.

There were I think 4 or 5 readers and 4 tables. They'd switch out to give each other breaks. The experience was advertised as a 10 minute reading. What happened is that some readings went way longer. I don't know if they all timed themselves or what, but we were pretty close to the front and it was a crazy wait.

This Diablo tarot deck was so beautiful omg. And my reader was so so sweet. She explained her format and that she'd tell me what the cards had to say because I didn't have anything pressing that needed answers.
*whispers* I set my own destiny ;)

Mr. Chicken didn't want his cards read. So! Here were mine.

Past (Left)- 7 of Pentacles: investment and effort
Present (Middle)- Temperance: patience, balance, inner peace
Future (Right)- Wheel of Fortune: Positive changes or outlooks

Translation: I was putting a lot of effort into something, investing myself full tilt. I put myself through it and it took a lot of patience, and determined for inner peace and I'm living it. Because of the work put in, good things will continue to come, and that I manifested it.

Yeah, pretty much lol. It went down that way for sure. She nailed it. Was kinda wild. I was smiling the whole time as she was deciphering everything. There wasn't much else to say except how happy she was for me. So... It be like that :D

Beyonce is happy to see Jay-z on Make a GIF

Felt good to have someone say that out loud. I mean, I know it already, but a total stranger just busting that out and saying it to me is like, dope. Happy buff. Mostly because of the "investment and effort" part. And she said I'm protecting my inner peace because of it, and she's right! :D

Sacrificial photo op! LOL yaaaaay :D

The church area was pretty cool. Lots of seating.. to watch the streams. The seats here were actual church pews. I appreciated this quite a bit. Super unique.

And there was this huge tree with heads hanging off of it.

Something I noticed in general this year was that the monitors took up more floor space. Not just physically but on a psychological aspect as well. Previously, the monitors were almost utilitarian accents for convenience that didn't take away from the environment of the hall. This year, they were centerpieces to be designed around. Marrying creative design with this need of monitors is a good solution, but I had to wonder... why were the livestreams the centerpieces at a convention?

OH is it because there were no stages?

That's kinda raw to say but I'm not wrong- and that's what's wrong. I understand that now, livestreaming has dominated much of the gaming industry and marketing. That's ...happening. Blizzcon's appeal was the togetherness of the community and the storytellers/developers coming together for dialog and expression. What am I supposed to do with a livestream from the next building over? Look at it? ???
Anywho,
There was a Reaper cosplayer with a cloak who was carrying around a thing of roses.
*cries in wc3*

Photo op! The banners and centerpiece in this area were playing The War Within trailer to build up hype. Was cool! Looks dope. Loootta photo op areas this year.

When we were hungry, we grabbed food and went to check out the Darkmoon Faire again with peeps who hadn't seen it yet.

Since we couldn't use the tables, we improvised and used the base of this tree to set our things down. I was salty about the tables, I won't lie. Amazing how one person can just hog an entire table to themselves with all of their shit. It looked just as ridiculous as it sounds. In my ire, I took photos, but I won't post them because it's kinda rude. But imagine picnic tables with one dude at it, and the table is covered in open binders full of pins. And he's just sitting there, by himself, scanning the crowd, doing nothing.
Does this show my knowledge of pin trading? At least Disneyland designates (and strictly regulates) areas for pin trading to avoid this very nuisance. *grumble grumble*

T
hese Venthyr cosplayers looked amazing ^_^
I think, they're kind of reminiscent of the characters from that "what we do in the shadows" show. I don't watch it, just saw clips, but I thought they looked great!

The Dwarves literally drink mead. There is licensed art of Blizzard characters drinking mead. There are alcoholic beverages sold in World of Warcraft. There's Brewfest. The Pandaren have Brewmasters. This was quite possibly the most pitiful "Warcraft Tavern" to have ever existed. If overzealous had an actionable manifestation, the decision to OK Blizzcon without adult beverages (alcohol) is absolutely it.

Mauga was playable, so we grouped up and played the demo. Good times!

Afternoon delight. The hotels were a soothing getaway.

Tiny bath tubs, cheers!

I can't put *Licensed anywhere without coming across like an asshole that's putting down fan art, so there it is.

I really liked that there were artists selling their * art. If this was there in years past, I wasn't aware of it. But it looked like the beginnings of a tiny * artist alley row. I saw this Yogg-Saron ramen bowl art and couldn't not bring it home with me for our little lounge area. This was extremely cool and I hope that it grows to become a Blizzcon artist alley. It could be something else to add to a hall instead of just Overwatch 2 matches haha.

After the first day, we headed over to the Westin. Both hotels out front were feral. We left and hung out somewhere more chill lol.

It was late, but we were hungry. The rest stayed behind to explore the feral landscape of the Hilton while Mr. Chicken and I escaped to get food at none other than our beloved

Sun Nong Dan.
A light, yummy, flavorful soup to end the evening and induce food coma.

Blizzcon | Day 2

We bought some merch the night before. Our first stop was the merch store to pick up our stuff.

The merch store was in a different spot this year.

From there we wandered around the Diablo hall. Grabbed some coffee and sat in the church area.

I wanted to take this last day in and grab some more photos of everything.

The tree had a head sculpt of a Diablo peep lol

Footman cosplay was awesome

So many amazing cosplays!

Caught em :D

There was this mini treasure hunt thing that was kinda cool. In various locations throughout the convention center were Mountain Dew stations. Finding all of them and collecting the badges to prove it meant you could turn in and collect... something. I forget what. Or enter a raffle. I think it was to enter a raffle.

OH YEAH. It was to win the Lilith statue.

We already have the statue, so we just did the treasure hunt anyway for the badges and something to do. Was fun! And we got some free drinks.

Madi was doing her March of the Murloc thing, as she does every year. She da Murloc Mama. I also got to finally meet one of my husband's colleagues who kindly gifted me Oswald ears from the Tokyo Disneyland. She was also there coordinating the march!

Ahhhh, Venthyr were popular this year. Loved to see it. When I saw the Medivh, I pointed at him and in jest exclaimed "literally everything is your fault!" He smiled and was like yeeeaaa :3

Whoever this guy was, he was such a trooper. He was coming out with a team to help him get into a massive costume. While people gathered to watch this go down he tells us that he ate shit in it earlier, but he's going at it again. Everyone cheered him on.

He was in costume no more than 5 minutes, but gave people time for photos. Was cool.

THIS GUY

Oh my god, his cosplay was BEAUTIFUL. Because it looked EXACTLY LIKE, REAL. HE LOOKED REAL. Like, he had the physique and the somewhat abnormal height and the simple yet pompous outfit like some kind of Innkeeper in Stormwind or something. It was perfect. I couldn't believe it. Best cosplay in the universe.

Ah, and then there was this guy. This pin trader dude. This guy fashioned his own Darkmoon Faire booth out of PVC pipe framing, fabric and wheels, and that's how he got around. He was a literal Darkmoon Faire NPC. It was amazing. I commended him for both his creativity and contentiousness.

Our friend Chun-D gave us special pins :P We'll keep em forever and ever. Also I braided his hair.

This poor dog lmao.

So, the tarot card reading booth grew pretty quickly in popularity. Unfortunately, people weren't aware of the kind of wait they were in for, nor were there any signs with like, "2 hour wait time from this point". I felt like that absolutely should've been a thing. Perhaps because it was a new thing, it wasn't obvious from the beginning, but I think the staff who were there could've put in some feedback so that attendees understood that if they got in that line, several hours of their day would be used on that experience alone. For maybe 10 minutes of actual experience.

Our friends got in line around 11ish. They finally finished around 4ish. In a small line. When they were almost at the tail end of the first row, they had maybe 45 minutes to go. The line was getting longer and longer behind them, so I went in and gave everyone a heads up to anticipate being in line for 4-5 hours. And it wasn't the fault of the tarot readers. There were only 4 tables and they could only go so fast. They accepted tips too, so I'm assuming that the reads that went on longer could've been because they were being tipped? No idea. I recall some people having reads that went close to the 20 minute mark.

Albeit unique and fun, that all could've been better managed. The tattoo booth right next to them booked up in the first day lol. Great for them though!

Hotel time I guess! The Marriott had themed drinks that night! For the Horde drinks! Super fruity and yummy! Rounds for the whole table :D

As the night went on, the lobby got busy. We accepted defeat and planted ourselves there.

It was fun!! Lol I got to see a lot of people from back when. It was nice to catch up and hear about everyone's successes and stuff. Made me happy. That's all we can hope for, right? Doing the thing and moving forward with our victories. Although it was different, this is the first Blizzcon after the panini and following a lot of social turbulence. And it happened. Blizz could've easily decided to just not have one at all, but they did. So, despite all my critiques, that is a victory.

Lok'tar Ogar!

Thank you, Blizzcon. I'm not sure what will happen next year, but I do like Blizzcon. Mostly for the friends and vibes. I miss the fun Q&A panels and mini performances though. Or the lore panels in general, so cool. I did like the library section where books were being sold, and I liked the artist booths selling art. More of that, here's hoping.

I hope that the alcohol thing calms down. Trying to control people with fear mongering isn't a good look for a company that had margarita kegs in the WoW building, just saying. Just get rid of the bad apples and believe people when they report to HR the first time. Doesn't have to be any more complicated than that.

That was Blizzcon! Was it worth the increased price? I'm not convinced. There was less to show overall, a random commercial girl group for marketing OW2, and security not screening people's belongings the first day. Did I enjoy myself either way? Absolutely. I always do. Wasn't a good one for first time goers, but here's hoping that if there is one next year, feedback that's been given on the forums are taken into consideration. Not gonna lie, Metzen was a good band-aid though. That was a strategy move if I ever saw one. And it was a good one.

MOVING FORWARD!
 ^_^

So, shortly after I was offered the position, my coworker (Ducky) told me she was also offered a position in the same department. We were beside ourselves with excitement.

Realizing that we were probably not gonna be able to wander the grounds together this way any time soon, Ducky and I spent our break at one of the prettiest spots in the cemetery.

One of the things I'm most grateful for at my work is how supportive everyone is. In the face of what we do, supporting one another is paramount. The support comes in a lot of ways, but it's there, no doubt.

It was a beautiful day. The air was crisp, the grounds were quiet, and the sun warm. As we sat together I told her as much as I told myself, how lucky we are to be there. She agreed. We were off our game throughout the weeks of interviews. Definitely nerve wracking, but we stood out. She does something different than I do, but she went for it and got it. Proud of you lil Duck! MANIFEST

Le sigh

I love this place. The lil fimshies make me smile.

Am really glad we took that time to just chill there and reflect. It's really nice to have these photos to remember it by ^_^.

November was very busy for us. Here's another Disney trip. But Holiday! :D

It was very brief, though. So, because going there closer to the actual days of the holiday is both blacked out and also terrifyingly crowded, we went early to peep, eat, drink, and enjoy before it got batshit crazy. The last day to see everything Jolly-dazzled is January 7th. So we may go soonish? I'm not sure.

We went in the evening in hopes of lesser crowds AND it was raining!! SCORE :D

Biggest reason to go was the Festival of Holidays! It's when all the food and beverage booths come out and line the walkway towards the pier in California Adventure!

If one so desired, buying the Sip & Savor pass is a great option for sampling various things from the festival. It's $56. A little less with our discount. With drinks and food running around $16+ each, I feel it's worth it. The way it works is a tab is ripped off and presented to the cast member for each food or beverage item (sans alcohol). And that's it. It works with some surrounding restaurants as well. So you could get 8 full meals if you really wanted to.

The evening was perfect for hot drinks and warm tummies. We went the route of trying the foods at the carts. Mr. Chicken had to have a porter sampler :3

I love it when local breweries get to do seasonal event collaborations, don't you?

We didn't use all of the tickets, so we gave the badge to Mr. Chicken's coworker. She was very happy!

Another thing to see this trip was Beast's Library. It permanently closed on December 10th. Before this went down, we had to go and give it a final farewell.

He always gets Mufasa. It's true. He's totally a Mufasa. I remember for another personality test thing, he got Carlisle Cullen from Twilight. It's so true. Exudes warmth and kind but unwavering strength. My gentle, stromgk Chimken.

Farewell, Beast's Library :(

The line for Guardians of the Galaxy was like 15 minutes lmao.

As it got later and things started to close down, we made our way towards the exit.

Yay ^_^

But before leaving, I wanted to peep Main Street real quick.

Golly, I could cry

I'm an sucker for atmosphere, so evenings like this feel like absolute MAGIC.
Look how beautiful the light reflections are on the ground because it rained UGH.

As we made our way through Main Street, people started pausing out of nowhere. Irritated, I looked around to see what was happening. We were so confused.

Suddenly, the lights went out and this blue hue gradually enveloped all of Main Street.

A light show was playing accompanied by really pretty holiday songs. The lights on the buildings sparkled and dazzled. The castle in the distance glowed. It felt like snowflakes in my tummy, and my soul felt warm. God, it was so entrancing and so beautiful that I started crying. I felt homesick and wished my parents could be there alongside us. And felt homesick for Christmases in my youth. And for snow days. And felt so happy at the same time to be there with Mr. Chicken. Ahh, so many feelings.

Prior to being there, I had briefly skimmed over some news that Disneyland was doing something, but that's as much as I remembered. This must've been it. There's an additional component to this show and unfortunately because of the rain, we didn't experience it. But there are machines that produce snow and spray it over Main Street to create the full snow time experience. Even though we didn't get the "snow", I will still crying and taken back in wonderment over such a beautiful display. It really feels like magic.

With a teary-eyed-me holding onto my emotional support, we moved in closer to see the castle before calling it a night.

With that, we said goodbye for the year and went home. My heart was full.

Our Thanksgiving was quiet this year. Cozy, just us with Sister.

I'm very blessed in this time of the year because my work provides employees the choice of turkey or ham to take home for dinner with pie and sweet rolls. Every employee shows up to pick up their food to take home for their family. While it's certainly a good perk, we're reminded daily why it's also a blessing.

I made us espresso cocktails to enjoy with dinner lol.

Please enjoy these photos of an Ophelia morning, in the sun, on our bed.

Biiiiig streetch

Nyiis

Mlepbk

She loves that blanket so much.

VEGOOSE | Long Vegas is Long

Middle of November, why not run around in Vegas for a week?

But first, a quick sushi break on the way there.

Forgot that conveyor belt sushi places are kinda fun. Haven't been to one in years. They dangerous though lol.

Def had to get the toro T_T

Filled our tummies then it was straight to the hotel. I brought my laptop and stuff.

You know, just in case. We didn't play as much as we thought we were going to, but at least we had Salad Fingers.
And hot dogs.

:D

It's wild. I was just there a month prior for the National Funeral Director's Association conference.

There was a place we had to peep. We weren't ready. Highlight of the trip for sure.

The atmosphere was peak. The music was awesome. The vibes were great. It was bustlin, but not in a gross way. We were all feelin good. Life is good.

I tried to get a cute photo of these two, but she is an ever hangry Hampster and Mr. Chicken is stoic as ever.

D'aww

We were surprised with a treat performance. Jazz piano player and burlesque in a single evening.
*chef's kiss*

She was beautiful! She came over to our table and ahhh. So happy lol

And the drinks kept coming.

What even was this
LOL

The adventures continued. Homdray had set out to encounter one of his many beloved Wonka machines. Wonka is a cruel mistress.

But that night, Wonka was good to him and released the Oompas.

We also met up with some friends of friends at Texas Roadhouse. This was my first time there!

The bread was really good.

The next morning called for a proper Vegoose breakfast. We were kinda far from the usual spot, but there was another Irish place nearby.

The stouts there were sweeter. No complaints. Beer isn't my favorite, but stouts are delicious compared to lagers. Idk how people can drink lagers, they taste like nothing and gross at the same time. T_T

Our table dude had super high charisma stats. A lot of it came from his Irish accent. I'm pretty sure we were all swooning just a bit.

Irish breakfyyyy. My default is Shepherd's Pie. So bomb.

Can never go wrong with Irish coffee! And he frickin' talked us into buying shots. I'm telling you, he was too fly for us. We were powerless.

So, there was this place that Cristal and I walked by the last time we were there. It looked awesome from the outside. Had cabinets with curios and stuff, cool atmosphere, dark inside. After looking into it a little more, I learned it also has a speakeasy. Love speakeasies! So this time around I was excited to take our friends to check it out.

The lounge is called Cabinet of Curiosities. Wildly original. After going in to take a closer look, I was taken a bit aback.

Not as many curiosities as there were random antique pottery, retro knick knacks and a taxidermy display here or there. I guess my idea of curiosities boarders on the more early 20th century curios than mid-century thrift finds and stock from Necromance in Hollywood.

Hey. I'm being honest.

There's a mini-game-trick-thing one must do to initiate (make reservations) for the.. The Lock speakeasy. This was part of it.

This anatomy model was the most "curious" thing on display (to me).

I will say the drinks in the lounge were cute. They ordered some, I didn't. But the drinks were themed all darkly and stuff with fun flavor combinations. There was like an Edgar Allan Poe drink and like, some other such darkly-adjacent themed drinks- whatever that means.

We waited maybe 13 minutes before being called back. There's a brief puzzle room patrons go through before reaching the speakeasy, that was fun. Once we got inside, I was kinda let down LOL.

Here's why:

It was a small, dark just short of rectangular open room, very similar to the room in the first Saw film where the two men were chained in, with the bar along the right wall as we were led in. Cocktail tables and seats lined the other 3 walls, which left room for some couch seating in the middle, where we sat. There was a large monitor mounted behind us playing 1930s films- that was dope, I liked that. The walls were brick, the ceiling exposed. Everything was really dark which made the glowing centerpieces at the tables glow nicely. It was virtually empty sans us and less than a handful of other patrons. The Lock has a 2 drink minimum to enter. At minimum $25 a drink, you better have a gremlin in your group for entertainment because the environment was Low on the vibe scale.

There wasn't even room for a performer. Which, look. I understand. The whole point of a speakeasy is a secret backroom to drink in- probably not the coziest places back in the day. If they're trying to be canon, that's great. I can appreciate that. However, being canon also means drinks and their prices were likely on par with the quality of the location. And these 2023 drinks' prices did not match the environment. I'm just saying.

I WILL say though, there was a fun little feature that they presented to spice things up a little bit, and perhaps somewhat justify the price.

With the 2 drink minimum came a customization option for one of your drinks. You'd be given a card, fill it out, and the mixologist would concoct something personal.

For my mood I chose adventurous. For style I chose sweet. For destination I chose campfire, and for element I chose Earth.

She also asked us what tier of alcohol we'd like our drinks made with. There were like, 3 tiers I think. The lowest was the regular price. The mid tier was an extra $10 or $15, I can't remember. And the super top tier was like almost $50. We're assholes and almost all of us chose the top tier alcohol. Homdray went with mid tier because he's smarter than us. Our first round of drinks were the house specialty options. Was pretty good.

  • Did I like it? Ya. It was pleasant; sweet, strong, smoked, smooth and cute.
  • Was it $50.00 good? No.
  • Was the novelty fun? Sure.
  • Would I do it again? No. Needs ambiance.
  • Have I ever had $50 worthy drinks? Yes.

This was our seating area. That was it. The walls were bare, behind me was the monitor, across from me was the bar. To my left and right were the exact mirror of each other, and to my direct right was the door to get in.

6/10 for both The Cabinet and The Lock

The films and novelty were great, but they carried too much weight and the price wasn't worth the experience. The Cabinet's lounge drinks were fun and tasty, and the ambiance there was a lot more inviting. Unfortunately, the lounge's vibrancy is such a contrast to the speakeasy that it sets patrons up for disappointment once they step inside The Lock.

We went to get some cheap mediocre ramen and headed back to the room to call it a night.

The next morning, we indulged in some bath bombs and wine for breakfast.
Wandering became the only thing left to do. Wander and find snacks. Or something to eat. I think this was the 3rd day. I was too chicken shit to gamble. It's not my favorite thing to do. Mr. Chicken kept reassuring me that we're fine, but I still am super cautious. Gambling doesn't do anything for me, really. Not like... food or video games do, haha.

Wow look at these guildies, man. Just chillin and bein goofs.

Nasa peepo

I had gotten bath bombs for us all to enjoy, so we did that.

By this point, I think everyone had lost money lol. I had gotten a Good Fortune kitty bath bomb for us, also because the year was coming to a close and wanted to harness all the good fortune vibes via bubbles.
Lifa did the honors.

They put on One Piece

The bubbles were thiccc. Also the water was really hot lol.

LOL

He went feral and made a Raichu. This Raichu was made from good fortune bubbles, so it was especially blessed.

By the next morning, we were Vegoose'd out. On the last day we just chilled. We were there for 5 days, and I never thought I'd be so ready to leave Vegas, but I was.

We got some Italian for breakfast, and kinda just waited around for the day to progress.

Later on, I went back to the craps machines. I think I came out even, idk. Just something to pass the time.

And for our last dinner, we gave this noodle place a try. Was decent for a Vegas place. Was expecting something a little more American tasting, but it was actually decent.

While it was an amazing time away from home, 5 days was longer than I realized I could enjoy lol. There wasn't much else to do other than eat and gamble. I think 3 days is good. Anything more than that feels excessive. I could do 4 for the last day of sleeping in, winding down and leaving in the afternoon, late morning after a nice breakfast or something. Either way, it was a good time. We had fun. That first speakeasy though, that was good times. Perhaps next time I'll actually go to the craps table with real people at it instead of a machine. Unlikely, but there's a chance. It's so scary T_T I don't want them to talk to me LOL.

That was the close of November. Damn near did us in. December will have to be in part III. God, there's a part III. WOOF.

But now that the New Year has begun and I have some more stability with my new work schedule, I wanna get back to writing every week. I miss it but school made it to be too much. Here's to starting to regularly write again once I'm all caught up. These long entries take days and it's cutting into my gaming time, lol.

Hope everyone had a great New Year celebration. I'm gonna drink my gingerbread white mocha and play WoW and farm some mounts or something. Or play Dark Souls, I don't know. This won't be the only thing I'll be writing. Hopefully I don't lose interest again.
