Halloween Horror Nights 2014

   Visit  II

My second and final visit to Universal Studios this year went out with a blast! And just like last year, I went alone. It's a little crazy to me that it's already been a year!
I asked a few other people but no go, or they already had plans. It turned out to be for the better, anyway. This way I was able to take the time I needed to capture more stuff, as opposed to revisiting the terribad lines, haha. So, in the end going alone wasn't all that bad.

Check it out ^_^

This time around I left here a little later so that it would be dark by the time I arrived. I got there around 7:30, and the fuckhead security people threw away my mints and body spray without saying anything to me. How odd that they didn't have an issue with those things last Sunday.
Well, I got in, and felt a little nervous because I was alone, but I started feeling better as I got closer to the flame throwers in the center of the park.

This is the last selfie of me the internet will see for a while. You'll soon read as to why that is.

One of the first things I did look around for anyone I'd recognize.
Of course that never works out, so I went straight to the flame throwers.
But... there wasn't much going on around there either. So, I figured now that it's dark enough, Terror Tram was a definite.

I made my way towards Terror Tram, looking out for people with no luck. But made a few stops along the way.

The path to get to Terror Tram was PACKED. It was so crowded I could smell peoples' breath as they spoke to one another and shouted across this loud fucking sheet of mouthy heads, so I turned my ass around and went back to the flamethrowers.

No one there yet. So I roamed up and down the zone casually. All the mazes were at this point over an hours' wait time. It was already decided that I wouldn't bother with them this night, unless I wanted to waste precious time being away from my favorite zone.

I went back towards the entrance and watched the chainsaw guys startle guests. Then began to make my way back up towards the middle.
It was here that I completely fucked myself over.
As I was passing the entrance to the gift shop, these two nasty ass latinos walked out, and as they passed me one of them HAD to yell "WOO, SEX-EEEE" at me
I was infuriated, completely lost myself, so I turned back to them and shouted shut the fuck up back at them. His friend laughed at them as they walked away. I was so tempted our of my fury to go find security and track them down to get them kicked out for sexual harassment. I should have. but I didn't. I kept walking, annoyed, back to the flamethrowers where I'd be comfortable. And, on my way there, I was so flustered that I accidentally dropped my phone onto the pavement after a scareactor brushed by my side, startling me. In a hurry I picked up my phone to find the screen shattered, conveniently so right where the camera lens is. I figured out later why it was that the (selfie) shots were so washed out with white color-- because the lens is right under the shatter. No matter, my regular camera still works, and the scareactor cheered me up when he passed me.

I found someone! Yay!

When I got to the flamethrowers, the auctioneer was there at last. She looked directly at me and continued her roast, but it felt obvious to me that she instantly remembered me. I smiled at her as if my phone hadn't just eaten shit moments prior.

I was so happy to see her. She's awesome ^_^

After a little while I decided to give the Terror Tram another go and headed over there.

This was so awkward, lol. If I hadn't been using my phone as armor for being there alone, I feel my battery would've lasted a little longer. The line was a lot longer than I've seen prior, but the wait was worth it. That maze is so fun.

Once that was done I went right back to the flamethrowers, lol. That's my spot!

ADAM WHAT ARE YOU DOING ADAM
ADAM STAHP

He spotted me! And subtly asked me if I was attending the Queen Mary for their party thingie. I knew about the other one, but not that one so I said I don't know =\
I'd like to! It just depends on whether or not I'm working that evening- which I probably will be. Poo. Considering how tickets for that haunt are a lot cheaper than I've seen, I may go if my work schedule allows.
I tried taking a selfie w/ him before he quickly goes "my supervisors are right there"
to which I said "oh just kidding"
lol :P
see how washed out it is? Yeah, lol. =\

SCREECHY BARKIES STARE GUY.
Screechy Barkies Stare guy was fun. I think he liked me ^_^
He was very well versed in the art of screechy barks, and also extremely talented in being on one side of the zone one moment, and then suddenly appearing in the middle of the road staring at you out of nowhere while you're near the entrance. And drilling holes into your face with his eyes, and sneakily following you, and sometimes not so sneakily.
Screechy Barkies Stare Guy was definitely a favorite, lol. I wish I could express my joy, and nonstop laughter every time I caught glimpse of him staring at me through the crowd from the other side. He had me in tears from constantly laughing.

He just.
Stares.
Eerily
Forever.

Mr. Flower!!!
Mr. Flower spotted me, and greeted me warmly with a nice rev to his chainsaw right at the back of my neck. lol
It was so good to see him in his element again! ^_^
All the fond memories came rushing back, and my cheeks were hurting from laughing and smiling so much. Ahhhh, joy. Joy hurts.

SKULL HEAD CHATTERY HISSY GUY
Skull Head Chattery Hissy Guy also has a talent for following one around sneakily and then horrifyingly hissing at you after he charges you and viciously chatters his teeth. He was another favorite. He was also very, as the auctioneer put it, nimble. She's totally right, he really is. lol

^_^

There are two actresses that play the auctioneer. They switch out every half hour. This was the other :D

The girl w/ the bat and the locks...
Has the prettiest eyes. I guess they're emphasized through her mask, but I really like the shape of them. She also startled me shitless a few times. One of those times I was lucky enough to capture on video :3
I like her lots

Fire!!!!

Adam is such an awesome performer. He was crawling at people. It's really weird, because you don't know what to do, and it's offputting in the funniest way lol.

I tried to capture the wait times.. but they didn't turn out so well.
They were stupid, just leave it at that.

o__________________o
when I'd pull my camera out to take his picture or record him he'd turn away :B

He also grabbed my phone and walked off with it while it was recording! haha

I tried sneaking up on him.

he wasn't having it.

So, at one point while I was standing off to the side, he comes over to me and points me out to the auctioneer, trying to get me to go to the center. I didn't want to, so he screech barks endlessly until I finally do, lol. I forget who all was there, but it was Screechy Barkies, Skull Head Chattery Hissy Guy, I think Aaron, and Adam maybe? I don't remember, I was too shy to turn around and look who all was there, but the auctioneer begins roasting me, then calls over Mr. Flower who was standing to the side on his break and out of costume, and he comes over and joins in. She commands me to kneel, I said no; queing Screechy Barkies to wail out the loudes screechy barks ever until I finally kneel. He sounded like a furious monkey LOL. Guys... the anxiety was real, lol. I felt better knowing Mr. Flower was there, though. She asks him how much he felt I was worth. He answered a modest 350, lol.
Being put on the spot gave me anxiety but it was also fun. Honestly though if I hadn't known anyone there I would've run away XD

Once I was 'released for purging' I went back to my spot and chatted w/ Mr. Flower for a little while before he had to go back.

his sexy pose XD

awwww!

^_^

aaaaahhhhh, everything was so fuuunnnn!!

So, after a while I figured I should go walk around and do something else so I'm not a creeper.
If Transformers wasn't closed, I would've waited in line for it... =\
Instead, Dark Christmas and Mask-A-Raid needed a re-vist!

The fog machines are brutal. I blasted the levels in his photo so you could see, but prior to.. everything was white

Mr. Flower likes to be sneaky and go under that van to grab my ankles causing me to shriek in surprise in front of poor, now deaf, guests.

^_^

oh, hi.
lol, all evening.

Throughout the evening I would wander back and forth from the entrance to the flamethrowers.
At one point near the entrance I watched Mr. Flower, Adam, and I think Lance just run rampant and torment people. It was hilarious. They kicked the trashes down and were just... uninhibited, you could say. Watching girls scream and run away will never not be funny, including myself XD

And then that's when I realized Screechy Barkies was standing in the middle of the zone, standing there completely frozen, staring at me as people passed him in the midst of the chaos. I lost it. Could not stop laughing. So I turned around and went towards the pillar behind me, look back and he was gone. He was being a sneaky! He was stalking around the pillar to make sure he was out of my line of sight, and ... yeah he startled me. A few times. All I could manage to say was "HOW DID YOU EVEN GET HERE" through my laughing.

As soon as 1:45AM hit the chainsaw brigade made it's way out onto the scare zone and towards the entrance. I weaved through the crowd to head over to a good spot for a better look, and watched them as they lined in formation. A few of them were free to do what they wished, until finally they were signaled to Purge.

They went rampant! A sound I missed so dearly was the sound of a billion chainsaws humming through shrieks and screams. It's such a satisfying sound, but only probably because it resonates with so many lovely memories.
I watched the entire thing, I think 4 rounds in total, until they formed back up ready to march back into the park.

I managed to get one last photo of Adam and Aaron before my phone died.

Despite what happened to my phone, I left as happy as can be. They destroyed, and did so amazing! And I had so much fun being there again, and and and... it was all just really fun.
Truth be told I go there moreso for the scare zones than the mazes. It seems more personal, and the experiences are never the same- which cannot be said for the mazes~ which are really fun in their own respect :)
I'm sad the it's ended for me, but I will be back next year, and just about every year there after.
If I didn't have a huge bill coming at the end of this month (that's only every other month) I'd probably be able to go again, but.. it is what it is.

With that said, YAY! I HAD A BLAST!!
Made more fun memories, and my hoodie now smells like chainsaw exhaust and fog, and my body lotion. Just like it smelled last year... except for turkey leg. Last year it smelled also like turkey leg, lol. ^_^

Next Stop: Comikaze
(Maybe the Queen Mary!)

Good night!
