Without going into much detail, basically plans fell through for an event I was super looking forward to this year; Halloween Horror Nights. There were a few reasons, but that's done and over with. I got SUPER lucky at the last minute, and was able to go after all. I went with my co-worker and her boyfriend, and Mr. Flower helped TONS (he works there). I knew I'd be super tired and exhausted because I'm working every day (worked that Sunday morning until 2) and then had to get up for class the next morning, but fuck it. I don't work mornings anymore... EVER. He just doesn't schedule me to. This was fate, lol. And I grabbed it by the balls damnit! haha
Needless to say, it was really fun. We had a billion inside jokes about work, which was doubly fun because it was also kind of a stress relief, lol. Man... I'm so over what happened Sunday morning but... put aside my hyperbolic nonsense for a second and trust me when I say that all of us working the floor that morning were in danger of being electrocuted because of our manger's negligence.
OVER. EHT. So Sunday evening was like... nice. I needed it, lol. I didn't take a billion photos, but there are some.
This year they went with the Purge theme again, and it was so awesome to see! It brought back fond memories, and the best part was being able to stand in my favorite spot all over again.
For the insult comic, they had the auctioneer! I will admit, I saw her and totally wasn't expecting it. But considering how I haven't seen Purge 2, I guess that was a given. She was AWESOME. She's got some hilarious snark that I thoroughly enjoyed watching. She absolutely ripped people apart, and this made me happy. She even picked me out and insulted me! She called me a gothpunk!??!?! ew! lol Punks are stinky. ha
They already have Christmas stuff out!! But walking through there was fun ^_^

There were SO many scareactors with dreadlocks LOL.
I saw one at the Terror Tram thingie, and then like 4 others around the flamethrowers. No joke.
Poor Mr. Flower. He's got some competition! ;)
For a while, we couldn't find him forever! A few times I would think I'd spotted him but it turned out to be the other guy that had his locks in a bun, who is also very tall and wearing a mask. It's hard to tell!
While we were in line for the Dracula maze by the stage, my co-worker points out yet another tall guy with dreadlocks... but this one is flailing around all crazy like. Like... seizures..
IT'S MR. FLOWER!! lolol
but he didn't see me. And we were in a ziggy zaggy line anyway, so it's not like we could interact much even if he did.
We went on the AVP maze, Dusk til Dawn, Dracula, Simpsons, Faceoff, and Terror Tram I think. The lines were crazy, lol.
but yeah, it was a lot of fun. I even ran into one of the scareactors from last year; Josh, who was there with his girlfriend. They too were on the lookout for Mr. Flower ^_^
He spotted me first to chat. It was good seeing him!
AND. The cutest thing ever.. Adam, one of the scareactors I met via Mr. Flower on our field trip to the Magic Castle, spotted me and did a super quick little magic trick. He was wearing a mask, but as soon as he did that I knew instantly it was him. Super cuuuuute!! He had this little ball thing in his hand, and did that disappearing, flourishy hand thing. lol, he made some little murmurs and the little ball was gone as he flashed his empty palm at me. All I could do was giggle and say "where did it goooo??" and he was off :3
AND. Can I just add, that I think it's absolutely awesome how the auctioneer completely babies her minions, but treats everyone else like shit w/ an iron, domineering fist. She transforms into this sultry, matron to her boys... and then is this awful cruel woman, lol. I love her.
Such a good night.

Today at school I got the best email in the world. I'm recieving some card from Orange School District with a refund of x dollars and I'M STOKED. That's like... almost another month's rent. Which is really nice because right now, I'm super tight on funds. It's my own fault, with all this stuff going on ... it's not free! I'll be okay. I always am. This is just a really nice buffer. They're literally giving me money because I'm poor, LOL. Guess it's not so bad after all! Haha
God. The weirdest thing happened in my eng comp class today.
During our break, my instructor comes over to my seat and goes;
instructor: Cynthia, do you like Bauhaus?
le me: O__O (did he seriously just ask me if I like Bauhaus?)....... meehhhhhhhhhhhh....... eehhh... *makes weird meh signage*
instructor: ... Love and Rockets?
le me: YES! (really???)
instructor: *nods* My friend is having Davie J do a show in his living room tonight.
le me: O__O oh wow... that's awesome.
instructor: Yeah, I'd go but I have to teach a class *sucks teeth and looks down all sad like*
le me: dang. WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THAT?!
instructor: *laughs*
that's probably the most flattering judgmental conversation I've ever engaged in with a superior. I almost snorted, lol. I had never expected him to be interested in that genre, but... apparently, and interestingly enough he is. I dig it.
Finally; here's my line up for Comikaze! I'm going in cosplay for 2/3 dayssss. Also hoping that at some point I'll be able to run into someone who will let me vomit Nibbles onto their chest while they lay on the floor, LOL. I NEEEED this. hahahaha. We'll see, haha.
It's gonna be an awesome weekend. I'm stooooked. Can't wait!
And then there's Warlords of Draenor in November! The budgeting is real, guys. It's so real, lol.
Not to mention that I had a group project with two of my classmates for English. They both played WoW. We had much to discuss, lol. I also predict we will have a shit ton to talk about once Warlords comes out.

And also November means Fett and I can go see our friend Jackie at Disneyland! Stooooked for that as well :D We ran into her at LBCC aaaand she totally was like... I landed a spot in the Holiday parade guys. So we're totes gonna visit huurrrr
