There's totally a thing coming up this weekend and I'm highly considering going in my Espeon kigurumi for the lols. but I haven't decided yet. 

You guys, after making that Gastly plushie, I basically feel unstoppable. Like who knows what other things I can make!? I DON'T? but like... well... I'm sure if I tried hard enough.... I mean... I just have to get the geometry part right. I don't do shapes very well. Like, making them, and putting them together so they fit. Because you have to plan ahead how they'd fit. It's like a puzzle. Getting a 2D shape into a 3D shape, disassembling it in design, then assembling it with materials--- I can't do that. My brain won't allow it. 

lol like.... for my Poe cosplay, I had to sew a hood and cloak together.
Pretty simple right?

For some reason, I couldn't figure out that a hood is just two large rectangles sown together. 

Like, my brain instead was like, HOW DO I MAKE A HALF CIRCLE WITH A SQUARE EDGE HOW DO I CUT THAT?!

Good ol youtoom. I mean, I sewed it. I sewed my cosplay together but that shit killed me, lol. 

The point is.... I wanna do something flowy and cute. A humanoid version of a Pokemon.
I'm not sure which yet. I know someone who is cosplaying Umbreon for Comikaze, but like... well. I don't wanna say, but he's gonna look amazing. I'm wondering now if I should do something with Espeon, and maybe do some kind of shoot w/ him. or go with Gastly. idk.
I wish someone would cosplay as Haunter and walk around with me in my child Sabrina cosplay lol. That'd be dope/cute.

This will obviously be for Comikaze. I have a little over a month to get it figured out.

SO, ANIME CALIFORNIA WAS LAST WEEKEND YOU GUYS

I'd never been. 

I was thinking of ghosting it with Doge, but at the last minute, my friend Jason texts me asking me if I had tickets for it. I said no, and he hooked me up w/ two. He was there as a guest! Super awesome of him, thank you Jursuuurn!! 

He asked me if there was anyone else I knew that would wanna go.... obviously Doge. 

So, Doge got there early and picked up his badge. I didn't get there til after 4 I think, on Saturday. 

Picked up my badge from Jason's handler, and the first person that finds me:

The con was tiny! Barely filled half the hall, but man oh man... I think I spent more money here than the last 3 cons combined!

From what I was told, Anime California used to be held at a hotel, and was moved to Long Beach Convention Center because it had expanded. That's always really great to hear, I think :)

 I saw this booth; Capumon, and fell in love. 

Look at those Espi and Umbri hats!!!! They're adorable!

But, I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything that day. (LOLOLOLOL)

 The guy at the booth was super friendly. I waved goodbye to the hats, and ventured on.

And walked right past a Bahb without realizing it was him.
---I do that a lot. I think it's just a weird social awkwardness thing. Like, a defense mechanism to block everyone out so I don't become conscious of myself getting uncomfortable? Is that just me? Yes? okay.

The hall was split in half. The vendor half as shown above, and the tabletop/stage half.

At one point, someone brought out some boom box thingie and began playing music in the lobby

And of course an Instinct cosplayer comes out and dabs ferociously

And then, as Doge put it, all of Tumblr came out and started line dancing.

It was pretty terrible, guys. I didn't take pictures. I didn't want to.

So, it was din din time. We all parted ways while Doge and I met up with some people at Island's across the street. Then we hit up the Pike for some good ol' Pokemon hunting

It was a Jigglypuff nest. I didn't catch anything substantial. and by 1AM I was pooped.
So I called it a day and walked back to my car.
Day 2 was really fun, despite getting there as late as I did. It was probably for the best, because man oh man was I tired. It had been a long day for me. I worked that morning, then went for birthday ramen with Ponies, and then came to Anime Califorina.

 Since we skipped breakfast, we hit up the Starbucks across the street.
Here's a thingie I really like and recommend for a little pick-me up:

Chocolate banana smoothie with soy and a shot of espresso.
It's made with a whole banana, whey protein powder, mocha, your choice of milk, and ice. And the shot if you want it in there. Very simple and super yummy. It automatically comes in a 16oz size, aka "Grande", so you don't have to ask for it. Not that people usually remember that part anyway.

I personally like it with soy because the mocha is a dark chocolate, and the soy is vanilla flavored. It sweetens it up and brings out the flavor of the banana :) Try it! Fills you up, too

So... we were talking about those hats... and we decided to make a trip to just... look at them.
but not before I blew more money on another jersey.

On Saturday, I shat away dollaz on this small, mens sports jersey jacket thing that said Hentai on it.
and then Sunday, I went back to the same vendor and got the other jersey that said Kawaii on it.

Seoul Street is bae. 

Blew Doge's mind. He said he liked it more than Shake Ramen,

I always get Seoul Street and talk about it here, but I don't think I ever mention exactly what I get.

So, I really like their fries. The first time I had it, I had the spicy squid fries. Squid is delicious to me. Mixed in other stuff. Alone, it's kinda meh. I've gotten that a couple times, and then I've also had their burrito-- there's only the one. It's their bulgogi burrito- and it's also really really good. I'm gonna get it next time. And this time with Doge, since he doesn't like squid, we shared a regular (their smallest size) serving of their kimchi fries, which were also fucking delicious.
So just assume that everything there is just delicious.
ok? ok. Their rice bowls are dope also. I haven't had the burger, or the nachos. or the rice cakes. Mostly because I just found something safe and wanna stick with it.

 Someday, I will win a pokemon. Or someone will win one for me. Either way. I want one

We went back. It was inevitable.

He was going to watch Gossip Girl, and I'm going to watch Breaking Bad.

I gotta say... I am liking Breaking Bad so far. It's not as enthralling as Gossip Girl, but it is intriguing. I just don't have anything tickling at my morbid curiosity just yet. I'm sure that will soon change as the season goes further into the plot. Doge however is completely taken over by GG lol.

And then the following day, homie from Burbank was in town! And I returned to Disneyland with him because he had finally gotten his Disney pass!
