  My friend moved out of state yesterday.

I'm happy for her because I know she's going to be doing so much better there, and she can thrive. What sucks tho is that I lost my chick. I have other chicks. But T was my chick, you know?

Well, a while ago I'd promised her we'd go to Medieval Times. She'd never been.

And so before she left, we made it happen. 

I let her use my sunglasses because the sun is evil and I always carry like 50 on me. 

Which reminds me, I let someone use the sunglasses I'm wearing in this picture, and forgot to get them back. Oops.

I bought those two literally within like a day from each other-- it's so stupid.

Anywho, so we get there and meet up with Abby :)

Abby is actually a regular at my work, but we all clicked so well! We saw each other every single day and yeah... we're here now lol.

That's one of the neat things about my job. I've met some cool people and made friends from regulars :P

If you aren't familiar with Medieval Times, it's a dinner theater thing. 

But like, knights and sword fighting and jousting and shit. It's pretty awesome. I want to take all of my friends there who haven't seen it.

It was a really good day. We talked for a while in the parking lot afterwards, just kickin it. T enjoyed herself, that made me really happy.  

Later that night, some shit went down and I hit a really really low point. 

One of my worst traits is that I bottle. I bottle and bottle and bottle, and try suppress my feelings until everything accumulates and I just snap. Not snap like go crazy, but snap like it consumes me, and I just break down and feel alone.

It's my own fault, I do it to myself, but it's because I want to wait and see if things get better before reacting or making decisions. It's not smart, lol. It's a little self-destructive, but what can I say. I don't want to impulsively act on feelings. They're drunk. But whatever-- so I was super low.

And out of nowhere, I get a text from.....

This dipshit.

"I'm boreddddd" at 1am

He'll text me out of the blue every now and then. It was almost like the timing was perfect this time, just because I needed some kind of human connection at that point.

I simply told him I needed to get out, that I was sad. And so he came over and we talked for a while.

Yeah. That night I was really, really, really, really low. I come off callous and cold sometimes, and I like to think that I'm a tough chick, but my moral compass is still very much in tact, and I couldn't take it anymore. There was so much that was wrong.

He was the LAST person I expected to come over and make me feel better. Like, the LAST person lol. Ever. It was just so random.

Thank you for listening to me and the pep talk. You made me feel a lot better, truly.

So, totally unexpected, but his and my talk led to yet another random thing! lol

This lady was coming to visit socal for the weekend for work, and funny enough, staying in Anaheim (wonder why :P). She asked me to join her for dinner on Friday, after a very eye-opening talk we had Thursday night, just her and I.

Of course I said yes

We had a lot of fun. She gave me a lot of pep talks and reminders that I needed to hear again. Lol you guys don't get it, but it was bad haha. It was really bad, lol.

 It was a much needed night. I learned a lot, and saw things from another perspective. Gave ME a lot of perspective on how I was seeing things, and helped me to let go faster. 

I don't think the pep talk would've been as effective had it come from anyone else but her. It did us both a lot of good, I think.

Moving forward, it feels really good to know she has my back in this. So, thank you for reaching out to me, Mariah. It's not at all what I expected-- none of what happened is what was expected. But thank you for reaching out. You helped me a lot, and I hope us hanging was just as restorative for you as it was for me ^_^

This past Saturday I met up with some homies in Little Tokyo! 

Mr he's-dabbing-again-omg aka Mediumblast aka Jay but we'll just call him HNGRT wanted to shoot me. It was supposed to be the weebiest thing ever, so I sported my trashiest trash, he supplied the hat, and we roamed around Little Tokyo being the dumpsters that we are.

This is yet another shout out to THEJAYKID

There are two Jays now. I have to extra clarify which Jay I'm referring to anymore to our friends. Always ends up likes this:

 And my friend will usually respond similarly, letting me know that he got that, it's not... *touches nose* that Jay, but... *dabs slightly less furiously* that Jay.

And then I'd go,

and walked around for a bit before I had to split. Was super fun though, I had a blast. And he got a lot of cool shots! I was expecting him to want me to like, be a try hard, but all he wanted was for me to just be chill and do whatever, having fun and walking around Little Tokyo, and that was perfect for me. So... yay! 

So, I had to meet up with Topher. Look at this creepy jerk, look at him

I picked him up and stopped by my place quick to change, and we went to go get some beers.

And we talked about a bunch of stuff, stuff that needed context and to be talked about. 

All in all, he's such a good person. Topher is a gift, and I'm really fortunate to have him as a friend. for realsies

I feel like Ponies shouldn't get this point, because Topher is Pinoy mixed with other stuff.... but on a technicality, he'll get it.
