Hell beak

HO BOY, 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND was so fun. 

My favorite part of this weekend was how much I wanted to slam my head in a drawer from the noise the fireworks were making all day long. and all.fucking.night.

 

Call me a crotchedy old man who hates loud noises and going outside- that's me. Instead, I made 4th of July rice, with 4th of July sausages with tons of garlic, and finished Yakuza Kiwami. Happy birthday Americaaaa.

One of the gems that immediately drew me in:

 Ever since Hellblade 2's trailer launched, not only was I completely enchanted by Heilung, but it peaked my curiosity, following some the storyline synopsis..es... from friends. I'm a decent ways in and really enjoying it. She makes me miss my long hair T_T

So.... while we were there lol... we came across this thing. It vibrates. A lot. It's supposed to be some kind of workout machine, right. Anyway, the WAY it drew it attention was.... there was this cosplayer on it... in a Spider-Gwen suit.

So when you get on it, your own jiggle graphics are set to ultra-high.

SUFFICE TO SAY THAT WE LOVE JIGGLE GRAPHICS

The squat endurance challenges were brutal

I tried it, and the next day it felt like my legs were broken, probably.

I barely did like 6 push-ups on that thing and my entire body hurt the next day. So yeah, can confirm. Jiggle graphics work-out = top tier itai

Now that I'm back home, I'm trying to eat less crappy. So went out got a whole bunch of boring shit I can't eat with rice, like fruits and avocado and bread. I can have eggs with rice, but I'm trying to have eggs for breakfast instead. Instead of.. not having breakfast ever.

Also, the other night, my housemate brought out these really cute DIY light bulb spiders she made for us to paint together! She even has paint specifically for glass. These spiders are SO cool, they make me think of something you'd find in some steampunk workshop or something.

I then brought out my blank wooden coffins that I've had for years and never did anything with. And she brought one to life :D

 was feeling cyoo but noticed that when I do my makeup like dis, I got the droops going on. Which is cool. Shirley Manson has that, but I think she's fuckin ethereal. So... I'll embrace the droops.

btw I was saying Ilu to this Slan statue that I need and am THIS close to throwing money at.

She's up for preorder right now, and I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed her. I need herrrrrrr. Especially next to my Hellraiser Kotobukiya statue. I neeeeeeeeeeed her. But like. idk. I could literally put her next to my Lilith statue. When she gets here. 

 Anyway, yeah this is her. She's 26" tall. That's like 2" taller than Lilith. Damn, if I got her, I'd have like... a trio of baddies from Hell. 4 if you count my SH Bubble Head Nurse. What's even cooler is that they're all different interpretations of Hell. I want a Hell waifu collection. I think like... the ultimate Hell waifu statue though would be like.... whats her face from the movie "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. Annie! I had to look it up. Yeah. Ultimate Hell waifu. Like literally. Actually that's messed up. nm.

So sick. Mostly because the Godhand in general has undeniable parallels to to Hellraiser. And like. Hullo? is this me? Ya iddis.

Admittedly, I only read the manga- no anime or movies. But I'm kind of okay with that because.. how does one even translate the grandeur of Giger into animation? Like what? It's impossible. The art in the manga is so ridiculous but absolutely gorgeous, I'm totally fine without seeing the anime. I mean I won't say no if the opportunity is there, but I won't go out of my way to put it on and watch in when instead I could be watching reruns of I Love Lucy, ok? I don't think so. Plus my friend said that they cut a lot of stuff out so. *Glares in Coraline*

Which also brings me to.... like.. speaking of hell and Berserk... I need to watch Phantom of the Paradise! One of my most beloved broadway productions is Phantom of the Opera, and that iconic beaked helmet that Femto wears was a constant reminder, but I just never watched it. Gotta do that. It's like... wacky 70s Rocky Horror Picture Show grade production but it can't be worse than Breakin'. And I enjoy both so. And Paradise came first so. What choice does one even have? I gotta watch it.

The point is I need Slan. I just need to decide if I should just eat the whole bullet and preorder her, or live. Ugh she's so beautiful. For those who haven't seen.. this is my Lilith statue that's coming in. 

They could be best friends. And like. Play patty-cake with their wings or whatever.

Now she's getting shipped in October. Gives me more time to plan. Plan. Lots to plan.
